Am I the only one who thinks Soucek is a decent Mbeumo replacement?
Gives a decent rotaion with Palmer and Gordon with £'s to upgrade defnece fodder to allow a full bench for xmas.

Yes, I cant understand why no mention in the article. Will be my choice i think. I was going Douglas luiz but the 4 yellows is too much of a risk with needing for GW 18.

Not someone I've considered tbh. If you go for WHU then it's gotta be Bowen imo. JWP or Kudus would be my alternatives.

Gross isn't a bad shout tbh. One of those players we always admire but never own. I haven't made my move yet, maybe tonight. I will look at Gross. Hee-chans price is just so tempting for his returns. And I want some orange in my team 😀

Hwang is ok, I have him since GW13, overachiever no doubt but I'm going to ride it until his departure, fixtures are decent.

With the midfield of Salah-Son-Mbuemo-Hwang-Bruno I was almost relieved that I have a reason to start selling some of them. I've picked Gross cause he's ok footballer and Brighton's fixtures are disgustingly good.

Yea, I feel maybe I am late to the party with Hwang. But lets see.

I would like Wilson in the future, not many good forwards imo. I value him more than Gordon, for my specific team anyway.

Hwang also allows me to facilitate a future TAA move.

It's not about boring, I would lose 4 of them because of AFCON and Asian Cup, my midfield would consist only Bruno from GW21 🙂

Its a significant deduction. They only made 36pts last season. I don't see them making 36 this season after the deduction but the promoted trio might not make 30. The greatest league in the world they say!

Do you see Everton making 50pts over the season ignoring the deduction? 40 is usually squeaky bum territory but that threshold gets lower every season. They'll probably be ok because the other 3 aren't great.

        1. x.jim.x
          • 11 Years

They're on track for about 60 points (sans deduction) based on their PPG. I know it's only 14 games, but it really wouldn't surprise me if they finished comfortably mid-table, even with the deduction - there's some proper dross in the league this season.

They don't need the equivalent of 50 points though. They need 2 more points than Luton. It'll be easy for them.

Kulu could be a nice differential but Palmer for his price and fixture schedule seems a good pick

Another disappointing game upcoming (FPL-wise) with a 1-1 scoreline.

Wanted to save the FT but now have two injuries. Mbuemo to Palmer seems an easy transfer?

    1FT 0ITB

    Areola
    Porro, Udogie, Gabriel
    Salah, Son, Saka, Mbuemo*, Hwang
    Haaland, Watkins
    Dubravka, Archer, Taylor, Mitchell*

Agree mbuemo to palmer seems sensible

Udogie and Hwang both 4 yellows so bringing in a palmer or non risk players the priority gl

Thought we'd be over the 4-yellows fallacy by now..

It’s genuinely affecting my transfers maybe I should just get trip and deal with the suspension when it happens

Thinking the same. Its the Diego Costa story all over again.

its a valid thing to be concerned about, but when weeks pass and your idea didn't come true, then its just a thorn in your side really. If you have bench cover, its not that big a deal imo. I probably have like 3/4 players on 4 yellows.

Thanks guys. Was planning Gordon and Palmer in for Hwang and Mbuemo over the next few weeks anyway. Bet Hwang gets a 4th yellow this GW. If not may remove Mitchell before as an extra option with Udogie on 4 yellows as well.

Nothing about Bailey as a Mbeumo replacement?

Bailey seems to be under the radar this season, he’s been sharing minutes but might be worth a punt, especially for gw18

One of the content creators pronounces Porro as Porrrro. Is that correct?
