If you gave some options to choose from, you'd get more useful responses. Doubt many will look up all the values and do the maths for you (I certainly CBA :P)

Kudus was a work horse today. Lots of pressing and ball recoveries. Great game for him despite no G/A.

    A. Palmer
    B. Sterling

Depends upon when Nkunku starts to feature. Palmer’s minutes will inevitably go down. Especially if he plays two upfront as he did the whole preseason.

I would think Palmer goes to the wing, mudryk dropped and nkunku plays the 10

As a wing player Mudryk will be first choice I think. At least there will be heavy rotation. Palmer can hope to play as CAM. But it is only possible if Jackson does not play.

I would prefer Palmer but not sure how Chelsea will line up when Nkunku gets to play.

Probably Palmer Nkunku Sterling front 3?

      Gallagher Caicedo Enzo mid 3?

Seems like Son just took a whack to the back. Came out and did all his interviews fine, albeit a bit stiff, so hopefully nothing to be concerned about.

    https://twitter.com/AlasdairGold/status/1732909694199513598?t=ovSxz_Kpgd_eMFCiEFgivw&s=19

Just spoken to Son Heung-min in the mixed zone. Asked him if he was injured. He replied: “No, I’m okay. I’m okay. Let’s see.” Pedro Porro was also spotted limping.

      https://x.com/ssonsal____?t=VfMrPXPM9jlhgggxpFBp6Q&s=09

Hand head in hands, looked in a lot of pain. Not disregarding the fact he'd calmed it down in interviews - but the bench stuff didn't look pretty.

His form isn't great though and he's off to Asian Cup in a few weeks. Had Mbeumo too who'll be off to AFCON if he'll regain fitness in time and has a blank GW18. A but early than planned but I sold them for Bowen and Saka.

    Evenin'

    Leno
    Trippier Porro Gabriel
    Salah Son* Mbuemo* Gordon Palmer
    Haaland Watkins
    Areola* // Nketiah Taylor Kabore

Annoying GW eh? Definitely interested in Dubravka, but hard to make a massive case for him vs TOT right? Leno vs. WHU not amazing, but hold? Bigger issues...

Mbuemo has to go given the squad. Nketiah too (eventually). Looking like both may just avoid a price drop tonight. Son may well be injured.

So probably holding FT tonight. See if we get any more Son news...

    Option (A)
    - GW16: Mbuemo > Gross* (BUR)
    - GW17: Nketiah > Solanke (LUT)

Gross could be another (~6.5) or under. Might -4 Son > Saka within this. Although not sure if vs. AVL the best time.

This option leave enough for a decent Kabore/Taylor upgrade if needed, can still get Dubravka for Leno in a few weeks.

    Option (B)
    Son/Mbuemo > Saka/Bowen (-4)

... This given me only 0.2m for an Nketiah upgrade & no wiggle room with my 4.0 defender (unless selling Leno sooner). Any options?

I have had Pedro on my bench for most GWs. Never have the chance to get rid. Adringa or Pedro has to play. (OK this weekend perhaps)?

I would do B if out, and A if not and just leave Nketiah, when nothing crops up.

Even later reply - but prefer Pedro (if he starts). The pens help & Adingra hasn't exactly set the would alight. Probably needs a rest soon anyway! (Cue haul.)

Left Nketiah last night so eaten the drop - but that'll be a next GW move I think.

I look at their bench and just see nothing too, they won't cope with the coming schedule and I'm sure the results will demonstrate that. I'll go Palmer, then I have spare cash to deal with othe issues potentially arising.

A little but at the same time I think with their injury issues they’re not really in a position to be resting key players. Barnes set to come back but Gordon’s versatile. I own him and not too worried (especially given there’s some risk with most options atm)

Nicely summarised, I agree, I don’t think they’re in a luxury position to rest him, plus Gordon is super fit so shouldn’t be any issue, Barnes would have to be reintroduced slowly also.
Gordon it is then, most sensible move.

No need to take -4 for Zouma > Porro, esp. v. Newcastle, imo

Cheers buddy! Yeah true, I’m not liking a hit going into this weekend either, and I suppose a slim chance of a WHU cleanie against Fulham but I wouldn’t count on it haha

Another 4 injuries this week for my team. I can't keep up with this. Every week. There aren't enough transfers...

I had another 4 this week too. Brutal.

Lascelles has only dead leg. I was going to bench him anyway.

I was planning players out based on fixtures and form and now it’s just a question of who’s actually going to play

WARNING! I was planning to sell Mbeumo, but now I have to rethink. I can afford Mbeumo to drop once before it affects my SP. Son will be flagged soon and I expect him to drop once before Mbeumo's 2nd drop. So Son has to go probably first. Do check your situation if you have both.

Do have to factor in that Son’s looks much less serious and he has a fixture in GW18.

I have both and not too concerned about Son, I think he’ll be fine

Agree with this. Son described taking a kick which suggest it was just an impact injury (probably mixed with some frustration at the result). Guesswork of course but I think he’ll be fine

Ok, I didn't see that happening, just him falling to the ground and not appearing on the TV screen anytime soon.

Check the video on previous page or page before. I don't expect him to play come gw 18, but it's of course possible.

It looked quite serious to me and I didn't see the contact, so I thought there wasn't one.

Sold both. Would be selling in a few weeks anyway even if both were fit with AFCON and Asian Cup imminent.

I wish everyone selling Mbuemo would just wait 1 bloody day for the Friday pressers (they won't).

      Why?

"It is bad," Frank revealed. "He’ll have a scan later, but we don’t know the exact number of weeks he will be out.

"He will definitely not play on Saturday [against Sheffield United], and he will be out for weeks. We will know more in the next couple of days."

His next drop is due over a week away according to Hub. We should be fine.

        I don't think I've ever used Hub's price predictor.

FPLStatistics & FFix both have him set to fall tonight.

I've just checked and I have six Injuries
    1 FT and 0.0 ITB

    Areola*
    Laschelles*, Trippier, Tsimikas
    Palmer, Son*, Saka, Salah, Mbeumo*
    Alvarez, Haarland

    Turner, Mitchell*, Archer, Lamptey*

Is the first thing I need to do Mbeumo to Gordon?
Does stop me getting dubs tho

Yes. If there’s not good news regarding Areola I’d just take the hit for Dubravka though. Consider it a -2. Unless Newcastle do what they did tonight again of course
