    Worth a -4 Areola > Dubravka

I also have Cash so he probably needs to go too next week, just not sure it's worth a hit.

Have Lascelles and Trippier already, seems a bit overkill for a -4 Dubravka

Might be best to wait and see this week on Areola, what you reckon?

not sure id want triple new defence, locks out of gordon as well. id wait on areola, or maybe consider leno/sanchez if can afford

At this point is there *any* defense that warrants a triple? For that matter, any really worth even a double? I doubled Arsenal and other than one recent GW I regret it

Any other backup keeper? Areola might not be serious, but WHU won with Fabianski between the sticks - with quick turnaround they may give him another game or so as not to rush Areola.

Agree it's not a great week for Dubravka - but definitely a better keeper/team.

Tou talk about hits so presume you have made a transfer already? (Unless it's a combo move.)

No sub keeper, so it'll be tight without one, but realistically the -4 keeper would need a cs just to break even, so probably unwise to triple up on Newcastle D + yeah good point locks out of Gordon or Isak.

2ft used on Mbuemo and DIiby already, Palmer and Bowen in tonight just before the price swings,

Other defenders are Baldock, Saliba, Trip, Lascelles Cash.

Sit tight on Areola and Cash out for a hit probably makes more sense. Might just ride it out and see how Areola and the rest of the defence pan out

    Leno
    Trippier Porro Gabriel
    Salah Son* Mbuemo* Gordon Palmer
    Haaland Watkins
    Areola* // Nketiah Taylor Kabore

    - Mbuemo gotta go
    - Nketiah gotta go
    - Son injury-watch?
    - Hold Leno this week?

    Option A:
    GW16: Mbuemo > Gross (BUR)
    GW17: Nketiah > Solanke (LUT)

Gross in GW17 has ARS but can be benched for given other attackers. (But there in case suspensions/rest.)

Gross at 6.3m is probably what I can go up to. Right this second I can get 6.5m (e.g. Mitoma) but he'd have to be sold soon for Asia cup. Got Son/Salah/Kabore to sort too.

If Son is crocked - will consider a -4 to Saka. Against AVL isn't fab but vs. BHA is better. He's my main rank threat.

    Option B:
    GW16: Son/Mbuemo > Saka/Bowen

More simple but means I can only downgrade Nketiah to upgrade elsewhere (e.g. Kabore). Could be fodder - just may run into trouble with defence in GW18 with suspension tightrope etc.

B looks nice, but with all these injuries A could easily save you a hit or 3 down the road. just edges it for me. not too sure on gross though, he plays quite deep but can understand the appeal

What would be your alternative shout instead of Gross?

        Kudos is 6.6m
        Hwang/Luiz/Sterling on 4 YCs

Can technically go up to 7.0m (if I want Solanke.. and 6.8m better as buffer for price changes) - but that's with Saka in on a forced hit to enable it.

yeah its tough. i guess going cheaper hwang/luiz/garnacho etc at least lets you put some money into defence if wanted (strong front 8 should cover yc issue).

i mean gross isnt the worst choice if you want him.

but like with your 2 options, mbuemo is tough to replace and it'd be nice for you to keep that mid slot open to the bowen type price as already got 2 cheaper slots. its a tough choice between A and B. I guess at least if Son is confirmed out then it can make your mind up.

small chance, but howe won't want to risk leaving too big a gap to 4/5th. could depend on those out injured (like Barnes/Wilson) and how close they are, if close he'll probably be less willing to rotate

1 free - thinking Mbeumo to Gordon and if we hear Son out Nketiah to Solanke -4. Good plan or any other suggestions welcome? Means could bench Son should he miss week 17

    Dubravka
    Livramento Gabriel Tsimikas
    Salah Son* Saka Palmer Gordon
    Haaland Darwin

    Strakosha Taylor Guehi Nketiah

Tempted to do Mbeumo > Bowen, but would force me to bench one of:

    A.) Gordon (Tot A)
    B.) Palmer (Eve A)
    C.) Alvarez (Lut A)

    Or would you save FT?

If I thought Areola was out one week I’d consider it. Half a hope Turner gets recalled anyway.

Used one transfer and one left for Son Areola or maybe go attacking and swap Archer for Cunha

Of those two, Bowen, as Hwang is a transfer waiting to happen with the Asian Cup on the way. Big price difference though, so it depends on how you are funding it too. I'm probably going to do the same, but it means downgrading my 4th defender Taylor.

Was going to get Saka out with the next 3 fixtures, whilst only getting one assist with 4 goals scored.

Mbeumo's 2nd game for me this season returned. Moved to Pamler tonight

everyone else blanked last night. Palace lost the worst game i have seen in 5 years.

Porro 5 points tonight. Hope Son is OK, I can keep one GW if not too bad, as have the rotational Pedro and Adringa against Burnley GW16, who will probably be benched by De Zerbi next week 🙂

Turner to get his place back next week.

Weather to get cold on tomorrow night, freezing temperature. Lutons game against Man City gets called off, as Luton have no undersoil heating.

      Looking forward to it 🙂

Smooth: Martinelli, Palmer (in for Diaby), and Porro (in for Burn) all returned, along with Mbeumo.

Rough: Mbeumo (brought in for Bowen last gw) and (possibly) Areola now injured. Already did Mbeumo > Gordon and have to consider Turner or Areola > Dubravka for -4.

Can't complain, though, as I ended on 43 pts. and a green arrow.

43 is good this week. 8 points green arrow. Nice.

It would be typcial FPL (as it is Coopers possible last game to play Turner in goal and wins his pace back lol)

That would be classic FPL if Turner were to win his place back in NFO's first XI.

I'm holding off for now on the Turner > Dubravka move. Waiting to see what Moyes says about Areola in Friday's pressers.

Mbeumo was predicted to drop tonight on both FPLStatistics and FFFix but not on FFH.

    Hub got this right.

      Drops are always more inconsistent.

Oh whew, I'd better sell him today to cash out the 0.1.
Have not been watching FPLstats - thought I'd plenty of time as only using FFH

2 weeks in a row I have only 1 player playing at home. Anyone else in a similar boat?

Thanks mate. Was looking at that, also tempted by Porro and Bowen. Not sure of doubling up on Newcastle defence.

Gordon (although now 6.1) and Tripps?

      Before Gordon's 0.1 rise, that would've been 13.0 m on the nose.

Thanks. Have exact funds to do that actually. Not convinced by trippier at his price tbh, prefer someone cheaper like Porro to have some money itb for future transfers

Son hopes he's OK after 'a big kick in the back' https://x.com/spursofficial/status/1732896594888913250?s=46&t=UAiZgFmCXBmOnWeXh_pULw

Sounds very unclear "big kick on the back bone, hadnt time to assess ?, see what happens...."
