Gameweek 16 begins today and Betway have joined in with a couple of Super Boost offers.
It’s a quick turnaround from the midweek chaos, beginning with Saturday lunchtime’s meeting between Crystal Palace and Liverpool. Both parts of this weekend climax with a big top-seven clash, when Aston Villa host Arsenal and Newcastle United travel to Tottenham Hotspur.
WHAT IS THE GAMEWEEK 16 SUPER BOOST?
If you’re new to the Super Boost, it’s effectively enhanced odds on cherry-picked match events.
A trio of match events, to be exact, so you’ll need all three to come in.
On Saturday, Betway are offering 4/1 odds for this treble rather than the original 9/4:
- Ollie Watkins (1+ Shots on Target)
- Gabriel Jesus (1+ Shots on Target)
- Bukayo Saka (1+ Shots on Target)
Meanwhile, there’s 2/1 instead of 11/10 on offer for Sunday’s Super Boost:
- Erling Haaland (1+ Shots on Target)
- Jarrod Bowen (1+ Shots on Target)
- Cole Palmer (1+ Shots on Target)
SATURDAY
The first boost revolves around Arsenal trying to end Aston Villa’s run of 14 successive home league wins.
A big part of Villa’s great season is Ollie Watkins – a scorer in the three matches that preceded Wednesday’s victory over Manchester City.
Joint-second overall for shots on target (19), his last 11 outings have all brought at least one of them, as well as two or more penalty area attempts.
Arsenal enter as league leaders but will need both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus to be on top form here. The former brings a steady flow of attacking returns, blanking just twice from his 14 appearances. Whereas Jesus grabbed both a goal and an assist in the dramatic midweek win at Luton Town. His three games back from a hamstring problem have produced six shots on target.
SUNDAY
Then, on Sunday, three players from a trio of separate away matches.
Erling Haaland needs very little introduction. He’s already netted 14 times and is way ahead of everyone else for individual shots on target (29). Therefore, it’s smart to think he’ll have more at Luton – the team that has conceded the second-most of them (87). The Hatters have also gifted the most big chances to opponents (53).
Fulham are narrowly behind Luton by allowing 84 on target, so they’ll hate going up against Jarrod Bowen. 12 of his 14 league games have ended with at least one of them, for a total of 18. Even more impressively, his midweek goal at Spurs means he’s scored in all seven away matches.
The only other Premier League players to net in seven consecutive trips are Sergio Aguero (seven) and Robin van Persie (nine), meaning Bowen’s visit to Craven Cottage involves chasing down a record.
Also hitting form is Chelsea’s Cole Palmer. With five goals in eight matches, he’ll be hoping to continue his hot streak at Goodison Park versus Everton.
