Yeah, Newcastle were in the game for some time, but if you see the final results of the group, then its about right.

Next round starts mid February. Don't see how it makes much of a difference. More important is players like Burn and Wilson returning from injury. Some players need a break, they look jaded.

What would you change on this wildcard?
(GW19-plan: Solanke and TAA -> Haaland and max 5.0 def)

    (5.3 itb)
    Dubravka (Turner)
    TAA/Porro/Pau (Gabriel, Mengi)
    Salah/Son/Saka/Gordon/Palmer
    Watkins/Solanke (Osula)

    1. Rosey Palmer
      • 12 Years

You might want to pick some differentials...most of your WC team is the template everyone is already playing.

      1. GE
        • 9 Years
        2 years, 10 days ago

        Template could be good 🙂

          • 12 Years
          2 years, 10 days ago

If you are happy with your rank now...template is good. If you want to rise in OR you need one or two differentials to gain rank. Depends on where you are now, that WC team will keep you even with everyone that already has the template.

            • 5 Years

I don't really agree with your thinking here

If you have a strong version of the broader template team, as this should be, you will gain ranks.

Who has that exact team? Very few I'd guess.

            1. Rosey Palmer
              • 12 Years
              2 years, 10 days ago

Most of the teams I am seeing are within one or two players of that WC team. Mine is, pretty close and I have been making small gains every week...from 800K to inside 300K over the last 6 GWs. At some point I think to go inside the top 100K you need a few differentials to bang.

    Lads, I need you opinion!

My front 3 is currently Haaland, Alvarez, Semenyo.

I’m thinking of playing Alvarez and Semenyo and holding onto Haaland. In GW18 I’d do Alvarez > Watkins. That would leave me with Haaland (blank), Watkins, and Semenyo.

Or should I just do Haaland > Watkins now…?

    Cheers all!

    Eddie Howe:

“I had to make two changes that I didn’t really want to make because of injuries in running.

“Kieran picked up something in the first half, I don’t quite know what it is at this moment in time. He wanted to carry on half-time, but then he signalled that he couldn’t continue.

“Anthony said he had an awareness of something in his hamstring. We’re not sure if it’s an injury because he could still sort of play, but he couldn’t play to the very high level that he has played for a long time.

“I think he had an issue full sprinting. Anthony is a very positive lad, and he thinks he’s fine. But let’s see.”

I would say there is almost no chance of Gordon playing on Saturday, it is a three day turn around, he needs a rest anyway, and he had a hamstring scare, and the medical staff know that playing even with a minion hamstring stain can cause serious injury.
