Our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Hall of Fame live rankings were updated ahead of Gameweek 17.
In the lull between the deadline and the 3pm GMT kick-offs, we take a quick look at the make-up of the top ten.
There’s also a brief overview of how these leading managers have their squads currently set up.
Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members can access the FPL IDs of all managers on the list and click through to view their teams.
WHAT IS THE FPL HALL OF FAME?
For the uninitiated, the Hall of Fame is a ranking system applied to everyone who takes part in either of our FPL mini-leagues.
Managers’ past and present performances are then tracked to give a Hall of Fame (HoF) rating.
The Live version of our Hall of Fame can only be viewed by Premium Members but everyone can access the Career Hall of Fame by clicking here.
Further information on the Hall of Fame is included at the bottom of this article. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to Mark Sutherns and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson discuss the feature.
THE STANDINGS

Above: Points totals and ranks correct at the point of the Gameweek 17 deadline
Since our post-Gameweek 4 delve into this, there is a new leader and five changes inside the top ten.
Mark Hurst‘s superb season sees him overtake Finn Sollie and Fabio Borges at the top. Despite five red arrows over the latest seven rounds, he still sits inside the top 5k globally. We mentioned last time that Mark had a pool of eight strong attackers and that’s still the case, opting for depth rather than one player being cheap bench fodder.
Yet he’s not the highest-ranked member of the top ten. New entrant Paul Quilter‘s continuing rises place him 3,517th – interestingly, he’d not once owned Ollie Watkins until this week.
All bar Fabio are inside the top 400k, with Paul, Frank Pedersen, Tom Dollimore, Jan Kepski and John Walsh replacing Rob Mayes (now 11th), Conor’s Team (14th), Jon Corke (15th), John Canning (16th) and Niall O’Connor (34th).
Pro Pundits Seb Wassell and Obay Eid (aka FPL Milanista) are ranked 20th and 22nd respectively.

It’s interesting to see how much this template has changed since the September update. Names like Ben Chilwell, Bruno Fernandes, Nicolas Jackson, Marcus Rashford and Pervis Estupinan were heavily picked but none of them make a single appearance above.
Before, Mohamed Salah was in just one team but he’s now one of three unanimous selections – cheap Chelsea starter Cole Palmer and Arsenal stopper Gabriel being the other.
Erling Haaland was sold by six of his nine owners in Gameweek 17, meanwhile.
John and Markku Ojala are, like Paul, also owning Watkins for the first time this week. Five managers sold the Aston Villa attacker for Gameweek 14, believing he was injured – but Watkins played, scored and assisted.
Meanwhile, two have doubled up on Arsenal’s defence, plus Fabio has yet to use his first Wildcard. That’s similar to Pro Pundit FPL General.
FPL HALL OF FAME FAQ
How is my rating calculated?
The ‘HoF Rating’ is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each preceding season weighted at roughly 80% of the one that followed. In other words, those who performed best in 2022/23 get a bigger boost than those who did best in 2007/08. The ‘HoF Ranking’ even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow rookies to rank alongside the veterans of FPL.
How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up for our leagues. Either the Fantasy Football Scout one or, if eligible, the Fantasy Football Scout Members’ league. The code for the latter will be available on the dashboard of the Members’ Area after launch.
How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL ID.
What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the relevant Fantasy Football Scout mini-league. You’ll be removed on the next update.
When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated after each season to display the latest yearly rankings. The Live version, accessible only to Members, is updated sporadically throughout the season to reflect the current campaign’s scores.
