Many Fantasy managers will now have one eye on Blank Gameweek 29 when making their transfers.

Here, we look at two of the different approaches to the big blank: building a team from now on or using the Free Hit.

Using a Wildcard in Gameweek 26/27 is something Lateriser tackled in a recent article.

HOW MANY ACTIVE GAMEWEEK 29 PLAYERS DOES THE AVERAGE MANAGER OWN?

The above image, taken from Live FPL, shows how many players the average top 100k manager owns from the eight clubs with a Gameweek 29 fixture.

The total average is 4.274.

So, with three or four free transfers to use between now and then, many will not be able to get a full XI out without a hit or two.

This article is indeed brilliant, so clear..
and yet it´s a s clear as mud til the cup ties are played!
I hate this part of the game, where the focus is all on fixtures, and form goes out the window.

This Liverpool game should never have been a DGW game. The game has been brought forward about 68 hours from when it was due to be played (next Saturday). GW26 should have started with this game and then we wouldn't have been wasting time, taking hits and worrying about a blank gameweek.
