Anyone else got a benching headache this week. Estu or Taylor? Think I’ll be rolling.

    Areola

    Trippier Ake Estu Gabriel

    Gordon Saka Foden

    Watkins Haaland Toney

    Dubravka Taylor Palmer Jota

Only in the sense that I wonder how many of my 11 active players will get benched (Estupiñan/KDB especially)

Yeah I have a feeling that those of us with KDB, Estupinan and Taylor will need 12 players this week, as can see one of those letting the side down at least with a no show

    Is Jota/Richarlison/Archer > Garnacho/Neto/Watkins worth a -8 this week too field 11?

Look at each transfer in isolation. Jota injured, Archer upgrade but not ideal losing Rich

Trying not to think too much about GW29, but currently have Haaland/Solanke/Toney up front. Want to bring in Watkins, but do I take out Toney even though he does play in GW29, or brave taking Haaland out and he frees up points for someone like Son ahead of GW29.
Other option is to forget about Watkins (hard to given form and fixture!), and transfer out Palmer for Hwang. Feels like Palmer is the only fixture proof Chelsea player though...

Guess you probably need to look at your plan for the next 4-5 GWs (DGW, BGW, chips), make a bet on who will score the higher from the 50/50-ish options there and stick with it unless injuries etc.

I would not make a change this week if I were you, expecting more valuable info before GW27 ...

I might just stick with that front 3. On paper the fixtures obviously look better for Watkins but Forest's defensive record under Nuno is actually pretty strong so I prefer Toney this week & in 29.

Nope, he is a good option not sure the best (factoring in price e.g.). Only thing is doubling ARS defense probably the choice of some FPL managers.

Its a good shout. I'm hoping Newcastle defend much deeper at Emirates and put on a s---housery masterclass before I bring in Saka & Øde next week.

I'm going deep into the 'Sheff Utd effect' with Neto & Hwang this, Saka & Øde next I think

Yeah, but would you do Pinnock > Saliba (-4) to get 11 out (352)?

Only 2 defenders here: Gabriel & Ake ...

Current plan is to play just 10 (252).

      1. Tonyawesome69
        • 6 Years

Pinnock is out until March IB. Depends on the rest of your defenders. I probably would consider the hit in this case.

Considering KDB for Saka for a hit:
      - it releases funds
      - KDB might not play if he has a niggly hamstring
      - not having Saka could hurt my rank massively vs the 4pt hit it costs.
      - gives me 12 players incase of non-starters.

      - but flipside if Haaland is out due to funeral then KDB might be essential
      - would bench Trippier vs Arsenal

      1. Tonyawesome69
        • 6 Years

I have low expectations of a KDB start. I think City will protect him if its recurrence of his hammy which was a 4-month lay off

I really don't like the idea of skewing the WC to cover a blank personally. My planned WC27 would leave me short of 11 this week (and too much Bournemouth).

      I enjoyed the 2 videos.
I'm on the fence re FH GW29 - waiting for FAC results etc
I can squeeze out 11 for this GW but that includes Estu/KDB.
Do you think it's worth a -4 to trf out Porro to say Torres or Reguilon?
      Thanks

        Cheers MHG.

I think -4 for someone playing is worth it but it's rough to take out a Spurs asset if you are not free hitting in 29.

Cash if you want high upside and risk. Regui if you can rotate him for the next two.

Considering how this FPL has been going on this season, and seeing all this posts - Heang or Neto etc…I wouldn’t be surprised if they get appearance points only and likes of Douglas Luiz or someone similar smashes it 🙂
