FH in gw34.. Any suggestions highly appreciated with 1FT & 0.5 itb?

    Dubs
    Reguilon, Gabriel, Porro
    Salah, Saka, Son, Palmer, KDB
    Toney, Isak
    (Areola, Darwin, Doughty, Branthwaite)

Bring in someone that doubles in 37.

Rico Lewis is likely to start against Luton and is a great differential this week as a punt

      Doughty to Gusto for GW35
A gambling man would do Darwin to Jackson if benching this week and hope he avoids a card in his next 2 games.

Gusto probably more fixtures than anyone else. Van Der Ven has the same but less attacking threat
Burn or Maguire double in 37 good fixtures around
Branthwaite similar for 34 double as do Wolves - Kilman maybe.
If he gets fit soon Livramento could be a good punt

IF you know for sure that Haaland is benched against Luton, would you do Haaland > Darwin for free? WC gw 35.

Given I plan to BB34/WC35 - is it worth ditching Foden this week? Seems crazy given it’s LUT, but I doubt he plays given the knock and upcoming CL/FA cup games.

    A) Save FT (Cunha an ok sub to come in)
    B) Foden -> xxx

    Kelleher
    Bradley, Gabriel, Ait-Nouri
    Salah, Saka, Havertz, Palmer, Foden
    Haaland, Solanke

    Areola, Cunha, Burn, Zabarnyi
    Bank 0.6m, 1FT, BB/WC left

      A. No Arsenal/pool mids that you can buy. Others arent worth it for this gw imo.

You think Bradley plays both in the DGW? If not, Bradley/Foden -> DGW defender & Jota/Diaz (-4) ?

I don't think Bradley makes it.

Unless Trent pulls up on his return, he's probably a sub tomorrow but TAA could well start.

Yeah it sounds like Trent is close. Would you make those moves for a -4 this week? Or best to save and hope that Foden either starts or doesn’t feature at all?

I think TAA plays at least 1 dgw game. Idk about buying a pool mid for -4 though, they’re not exactly in form. Watch fpl raptor on youtube, he might have man city leaks.

I have a very similar team with the exact dilemma. Mine is slightly easier as I can bring in Havertz, just feels odd dropping Foden before Luton (H)

My bench DGW34: Ortega Palmer (ars) V.Hecke(MCI) [Son]
Worst week to BB outside BGW29 as Ortega is due to lose his starting place, Son has a blank.and the other two have horrible fixtures.

I already did 1st move. See below but is solanke or someone else better than darwin? Jota back too so I think darwin starts only 1 of the games in 34

    4. Eze Really?

Depends on chip strategy which are polar opposites FH vs WC. I would think closely on Nunez for gametime.

What about BB in 33? Current bench is:

    Pickford (Che, A)
    Gusto (Eve, H)
    Garnacho (Bou, A)
    Gordon (Tot, A)

No wildcard or FH left, triple Chelsea in GW34 and trying to do it in 37 would require way too much surgery (aka hits).

I think BB is alot of luck and many of us will BB in gw 37 with the likes of van hecke, burn etc so think it could work any week here coming weeks

    2. Boberella
      • 9 Years

I’d definitely consider that. As long as you haven’t got any flags/risks in your XI (Eg: Foden). Could easy be 25 pts there.

      1. Donny_Rover
        • 10 Years
        1 year, 8 months ago

        First XI is:

        Raya
        Saliba Bradley Dias Gvardiol
        Havertz Salah Palmer
        Darwin Haaland Jackson

So some possible minutes risks there but all likely to get significant game time (double City defence maybe the biggest risk but feel they will both start, possibly Darwin and/or Jackson but you’d expect them to at least get half an hour even if they don’t start). Rotation is only going to get more juicy in the next few weeks, though, and don’t feel like I’ll get better fixtures for the 3 outfield players so feels like this might be a good time to play it. Also means I can ship out to fodder if I need the funds.

  24. Nate(U)dog(ie)

I had been planning on BB34 but have no idea what I'm doing now. Have the likes of Jackson and Gusto stinking up my team but hard to get rid of both before their double, but carrying Jackson (alongside Palmer) through a BB away to the best defence in the league doesn't whet the appetite.

I'm also really tempted by Isak or Gordon given this week's fixture alongside those from GW35 on but it means I'll be BBing with 4 SGWers (with the above two having a poor fixture). Could BB in 35 which looks fine too but means I need to TC next week and right after European ties doesn't seem like an ideal time.

I have Nuñez already and already tripled up on Arsenal (although I'm not actually keen on Nuñez as I can see him getting benched this weekend and guess he'll only start once in the DGW with Jota back). I have Muniz too so it's either him out to Isak or Mateta or if we hear Foden is out then I might drop him for Gordon or a very risky chance on Olise
