Our team of Hall of Famers and guest writers are offering regular contributions throughout the 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) campaign. Here, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman shares his team and reveals his plans for Double Gameweek 34.

GAMEWEEK 32

73 points and a Gameweek rank of 1m resulted in a healthy green arrow, moving my team up to 89,195 overall.

It’s the fifth time in six rounds I’ve managed a sub-1.5m Gameweek rank, so it’s been a decent period. The hope is now I can carry that momentum into the upcoming ‘doubles’.

In terms of my transfer, I ended up one point down, having switched Jordan Pickford (£4.7m) for Martin Dubravka (£4.2m).

However, the move made sense on paper, especially with Double Gameweek 34 in mind, and I’m confident it’ll still pay off.

Is it really worth keeping Son, if on FH34/BB37 strategy? Apart from Burnley, the other games are really tricky (ARS, CHE (debatable!) and MCI). I have no Saka btw but tempted by another DGW37 player or Mbeumo. I have Havertz - is that enough Arsenal? I don't want to lose him.

    Have bought Gordon this week and I'm not benching him. Maybe it's just worth looking for another DGW37 player with good fixtures from here to the end of the season. If they were in better form, I'd defo consider BHA players.

  Chelsea is a good game for any decent attack, Arsenal is tough no doubt but being at home is good for Spurs and it is a derby, he has a good record v City too. If Richarlison is back it might be good for him as he's had some good games against Ben White before. I'm not overly enthused on getting him for the DGW but the likes of Maddison haven't been good either

I’m not in a position to care about rank etc!

Thinking of bringing in Brereton Diaz or Kluivert for -4 to replace Barkley a week early as cover for any Haaland benching and would have got them next week for double anyway,
