    On BB with 2FTs and 0.4 ITB

    Ederson
    Porro Dalot Burn
    Foden Son Palmer Gordon
    Haaland(C) Isak Jackson

    Petrovic; Bruno Tarkowski Gabriel

    What do I do with my 2FTs?

    A - Nothing and let one FT burn
    B - Bruno -> Garnacho/Maddison
    C - Tark/Gabriel -> Van De Ven/Romero
    D - Other?

      If you can afford Tark > Romero or Dunk that looks a good shout. Don't remove Bruno for Garnacho or Madisson. Maybe for Richarlison though?

    BB active!
    Current Squad-

    Vicario/Raya
    Branthwaite/White/Porro/Gvardiol/Burn
    Son/Foden/Bruno/Palmer/Gordon
    Haaland/Isak/Jackson

    0.3 ITB
    1 FT

    Do i fit into the template with vicario to petrovic? or take a punt on Bruno to Madueke? or just save FT & take 2 frees into 38

    1FT and £2.3m ITB. Rivals who I'm chasing (5-20 points) all have Porro and Jackson so could go Romero instead of Porro. On BB which option would you do?

    A) Schar and Darwin to Porro and Wilson (-4)
    B) Gusto, Schar & Darwin to Burn, Porro & Jackson (-8)

    Petrovic, Onana
    White, Gvardiol, Branthwaite, Gusto, Schar*
    KDB, Son, Gordon, Palmer, Garnacho
    Haaland, Isak, Darwin

    1. Davemc23

      I'd go B. A differential captain in 38 could be the play if things don't go your way this week. I had to remove Gusto myself as I'm just not sure on his mins and Jackson looks the only option for 3rd striker at the moment

    Given there will supposedly be less DGW's next season, is the argument for using the BB in GW1 more viable than ever?

    When you factor in hits and booked transfers to fill your BB with DGW players, would it not be better to just use it the first week?

    Never done it before but do think it may be worth more consideration next season dependent on the opening fixtures of course

      Nope. But it might be decent after first WC. Even small doubles are excellent to have BB. Easy to take hits and get rid of deadwood and still get green arrow. I prefer gaining TV with strong XV over spreading funds when TV is at it's lowest.

    Petrovic (Dubravka)
    Porro, Gvardiol, Gusto (Gabriel, Bradley)
    Salah, Son, Havertz, Palmer, Garnacho
    Haaland, Isak (Nuñez)

    Mad to take a -12 to do:
    Gusto --> Livramento
    Bradley --> Muñoz

    2ft would you guys recommend swapping out Ederson and McGuire for gvardiol and onana. No other issues but does mean I only have 1 ft to attack 38

    1. RICICLE
      • 3 Years

      I’m thinking of doing the same in doing: Ederson + Maguire > Petrovic + Gvardiol, simply to block rival best I can and looks there’s just no upside to Ederson at all, whereas with Gvardiol we know what he’s now capable of.

      I say yes, but only biased as I’ll be doing the same.

          They seem like good moves on paper but the point I'm trying to make is that if there are 3 points between you and you take a -12 to a team very similar to your opponents' it will be difficult for you to beat them if they don't take any hits.

      That's what I am wondering. And even if Livra starts, will he play over 60 minutes? He had that bad almost season long injury once. I fear that they might share minutes. Hall has been behind in the pecking order, but I expect him still to get minutes.

    A) Schar > Livramento
    B) Schar > Burn
    C) Schar > Romero

    1) Bruno > Son (-4)
    2) Hold

      Porro is enough Spurs defence for me, trying to decide between A and B. Leaning towards Burn, If Trippier is fit to start either and Hall is fit, is Livra going to play 70-90 minutes twice in 4 days? He has been subbed at HT in two consecutive games also. I probably don't feel having enough confidence to get him. Upside is certainly there though.

      Deciding who out is tough as we don't know fitness of Saka.

      If he is fit I'd keep him 100%.

      Prefer Jackson as more minutes, but it's close. - Newcastle have better fixture this GW imo.

      Jackson. I'd ditch Garnacho if not on BB.

    Vicario (Henderson)
    Trippier White Gabriel (Gusto Ait Nouri)
    KDB Son Foden Palmer (Havertz)
    Haaland Isak Jackson

    Shame no BB, but I guess my defence is risky!
