How's this looking? Had Quansah but took him out for Robinson as I think Quansah and Barca is too risky.

    Hendo
    TAA - Gabriel - Porro
    Son - ESR - Eze - Gordon - Minteh
    Haaland - Isak

    Valdimarsson - Pedro - Robinson - Barca

The Son pick could be a fun differential with Spurs' new signings. Most people have gone for Saka, Palmer or Bruno F.

Pickford and Mykolenko might be worth the swap to Onana and Mazraoui. Mazraoui has had a full preseason and should be nailed with Shaw out. He has lots of attacking potential. Man Utd should improve defensively with De Ligt and Martinez back. Onana should still get lots of save points after he faced one of the most shots in the league last year.

Mazraoui might be unlikely to play the first game but it could be a great pick until the international break. With Malacia coming back to fitness and Dalot able to play left and right, there might be some rotation. But on the other hand, they just sold AWB who had games at LB...

He's worked with ETH before and is already training with the team. He also had a full preseason with Bayern so high chance he starts because there's no competition other than Amass

That last sentence is countered by your previous sentences: if Man U improves, Onana's save count should drop drastically. They weren't saves accumulated by a defensive team's GK (like Dyche GKs), but loads of chances conceded due to the team's play style

Speaking of which... Man U's defence has quite a lot to do with Ten Haag's tactics. He *wants* to build the best transition team in the world. If they return to how they played in his first season and are more reserved, then something cracked in Ten Haag and made him adjust to the squad rather than stamp his foot down some more. I'd say he's still trying to build that transition team

It could work out with the new buys, though. I consider them an easy wait-and-see, with nice prices to jump on after visible improvements. In Pickford, I know I'm getting a Dyche keeper with a fixture run that extends to GW10+: easy base to jump off if a 4.5 GK emerges (probably Muric) or, as you suggest, Onana flies up due to clean sheets

As a United fan I have Garnacho but not going near the defence, it's a work in progress and as Jim says, wait and see.

I'd rather have Onana, Hall, Murphy than Mazraoui from the off. He also needs to be RB to be effective so let's see if Dalot inverts from the left first which I'm assuming he does.

De Ligt is a far more likely gw1 starter than Mazraoui and carries good goal threat also.

    Arnold Saliba Porro Quansah Hall
    Son Saka Bruno Jota Gordon
    Isak(c) Wood Pedro

BB this then WC in gw2 and reset?

Bit random and maybe slightly negative but anyone else kinda think it's lame when someone makes an assist, then runs off on their own celebrating obnoxiously like they've just scored a wonder goal instead of celebrating with the team? Not sure. Was tempted because of his finish last season, and needed funds for Diaz.
My first draft had Solanke and Nkunku, instead of Wood and Diaz.
