looking at the CL groups, becomes tough to be anything but perma cap Haaland tbh. doubt he even has to play more than 4/5 of the matches

What cl groups? There is no group. Haaland will surely play atleast the first 6 maybe7 cl games. Man city dont even have an alternative at his position

sorry match ups. nah 3 teams in the group the reserves could beat and they only need to win 5 of the 8 really. haaland will get rest if he needs it imo

Either way haaland is best c option except vs Liverpool and arsenal maybe.

Seeding matter so he likely plays almost all the CL games. Think Salah just a good captain option.

On this performance, I'm wondering what if Southgate hadn't abandoned TAA so early on? Really good pass completion rate tonight, one assist and some lovely passes showing some real vision. I know what-ifs are a bit of a waste of time, but TAA has played well this evening even if it isn't against top opposition; there's not much he can do about that!

    1. Qaiss
      • 9 Years

Man Utd’s defensive woes have nothing to do with the personnel that was available and instead are because of Ten Hag

      1. Enzology
        • 1 Year

Problem is the midfield not the defence. Two half decent passes and the opposition are on the edge of our box.
Any defence will struggle in that situation.

New players taking time to settle. Harsh to judge them vs Liverpool but Brighton cut them apart at times.

Keane will be dropped soon, Flappy 4.0 keeper. Mosquera gets a point every 3 games.

I have tried, but with Jota going to be Mbeumo GW6/7, it is hard to keep Salah, TAA, Haaland and Havertz. (who may play midfield with Ode out,and Rice suspended, but no one knows). Good go TAA, Robertson Salah?. I would do that if WC this week (may yet still do). Frees up 1.5m.

Thinking to transfer out Saliba for a while kookingyat fixtures, and bring in a Liverpool defender...

As they are both the same price, would you go for:
