No jokes but is Digne an option? Some nice stats and not the worst fixtures.

WC 0.2 short at the moment, help finding where to cut please?

    Raya 4.0
    Gabriel TAA Kerkez Mazraoui Greaves
    Saka Diaz Mbeuomo Semenyo Rogers
    Haaland Jackson Wood

    A. Rogers > Dibling
    B. Kerkez > 4.0 defender
    C. Others

Rogers plays for a top 6 side. Dibling looks great but Southampton just aren't going to get many goals.

Yeah, but have been seeing this morning the tricks Arsenal got up to re Raya in that late 2nd half & that bandage could be part of it to make his so called injuries look credible.

I'm seeing Fabianski in a lot of draft WCs. Is he likely to get starts now?
I'm reluctant to select any West Ham player as I think they could be changing manager again very soon! But backup goalkeeper is relatively risk free so I might.

He won't play while Areola is fit, but probably the best 4.0m as Areola seems to have more niggles than other keepers

Fabianski still the most likely from the 4.0m to get a start but most will swap to Virginia if he drops to 3.9m

Least likely to fall in price (close to a rise actually) so he's the 4.0m non playing WC goalie of choice.

Thoughts on this WC draft? Want to keep Salah as I don't know why people have gone cold on him but definitely requires some defensive omissions

    Sanchez/Flekken 4.0

Haaland is coming in for Salah, what would you do?

    Pedro/Salah for Haaland/Carvalho

    Watkins/Salah for Haaland/Diaz

Carvalho will make it three Brentford which is making me feel like an intervention

Chelsea do have a tricky run and think Watkins is more consistent.

Mykolenko (4.3m) being back soon makes me really tempted to go with Palmer on a WC. Below team looks juicy imo

Can't decide on which 3 Arsenal to have?

    2 Defenders and Saka
    Or
    1 Defender, Saka and Havertz.

    What do you think?

    1. aapoman
      • 12 Years

2 defenders is a no brainer for me. Their defense is just so solid and attack is lacking with no Odegaard

    2. Skalla
      • 9 Years
      1 year, 2 months ago

Raya/Gabriel/Saka or Gabriel/Saka/Havertz prefer 2 attackers for the next 3 but long term 2 defenders is easier to keep and there is better alternatives for Havertz with Watkins/Jackson/Solanke

    Can't decide between...
    A) Wood
    B) DCL

I've not really seen Forrest play so not sure how Wood has looked. I did see DCL in action and he looked sharp, could have had a few goals on another day.
Fixtures are decent for both, just a little better for Everton but then Forrest are a better side generally.

If I did A with Colwill, Aina could be a 4.5.
Stick with Aina, or something else?
        eg. Davis, VdB as 4.0
        or Konsa, Greaves
Very undecided on my 3rd & 4th defenders. Don't fancy Brentford or Ev, despite their good fixtures (they are everyone's good fixture)

Would love to get Saka in... but not sure if it's worth the comprimises. I really like Maddison as a pick, but he's probably the first to drop.

    Flekken (Valdi)
TAA / Gabriel / VDV (Mazraoui / Keane)
Diaz / Maddison / Mbeumo / McNeil (Dibling)
    Haaland / Watkins / Havertz

0.8 itb, on a WC. Getting Saka in for Maddison leaves me -1.7 short.

Any advice how to squeeze him in? Cheers in advance!

Probably have to do that... or one of the other mids. So it's basically this decision I have to make:
        A) Watkins to a 7.2 replacement
        B) Havertz to a 6.4 replacement or
        C) Diaz to a 5.5 replacement
        D) Mbeumo to a 6.2 replacement

            Or:

            Watkins > Solanke and
            McNeil > Adama

Could be done with exact money

Yeah Maddison's stats look great, but no one in my Mid I wanted to drop for him:
Saka (obviously), Mbuemo (Brentford's run), Rogers (enabler and form), Diaz (obviously), ESR (form)

Yeah there are better alternatives indeed. Forgot about Rogers, he is also one I could add to my tinkering... Just added a separate post below because I thought it came down to 3 options but it could even be more now

Holding on the wc… question is.

Like it. Only downside is no TAA but that allows you to have Watkins which could be a good move.

Yes. If pool gets cs konate can have bonus too. So the risk is random assist of trent.

My WC comes down to the same conundrum. Watkins or TAA.
Having TAA allows me to rotate 2 low to mid priced strikers.
Having Watkins means probably Porro and a 4.5 and a 4.0 defender, or Saliba and 2 x 4.0 (already have Gabriel locked in)

I have opted for TAA, Jackson(soon to be Solanke if that looks like a good move in a couple of weeks, and DCL or Wood (Undecided).

I like him, he's just below ESR and Semenyo and I don't need the extra 0.2 (yet).

Semenyo to McNeil in GW8 definitely pencilled in.

Any Leicester fans around these parts? Do we think Mavididi will keep starting from now on? Could be a decent enabler with his upcoming fixtures.

Don't bench 5.5 defenders. That's asking for trouble.

          Fixture > price.

I mean it could backfire against a blunt Man Utd attack but I would be playing Digne & I think its fine to pick & choose your fixtures with Spurs defenders

    It comes down to this:

    A) Saka / Adama / Solanke + 0.0 itb
    B) Maddison / McNeil / Havertz + 0.8 itb
    C) Saka / McNeil / Wood + 0.3 itb

On a WC, below my current draft. Thanks for your expert opinion!

    Flekken (Valdi)
TAA / Gabriel / VDV (Mazraoui / Keane)
Diaz / Maddison* / Mbeumo / McNeil* (Dibling)
    Haaland / Watkins* / Havertz*

Have a bit of a benching headache this GW. Who to bench?

    Rodgers (ips)
    Eze (eve)
    Mbeumo (WHU)
    Son (mun)
    Delap (AVL)

On WC, which option do you like?

    1: Porro, Semenyo, Watkins, DCL
    2: Mazraoui, Diaz, Solanke, Wood

    Rest of the team:
    Raya, Valdimarrson
    Gabriel, Konsa, Trent, Greaves
    Saka, Rogers, Mbeumo, Smith-Rowe
    Haaland
