    Bad week with 29 points...

Worth a hit this GW if Saka looks doubtful?

    Saka, Gabriel -> Palmer, Ait-Nouri (-4)?

    Haaland / Solanke / DCL

I'd probably just lean Trent as I'd also back Ipswich to score, but certainly not crazy. I'm thinking about bringing in VdB for TAA to fund getting Palmer

  10. AlleRed
    • 8 Years
    1 year, 1 month ago

    Raya (Fab)
    TAA, Gabriel, Lewis (Greaves, Mosquera)
    Salah, Diaz, Mbeumo, Semenyo, Rogers
    Haaland, Wood (Delap)

3 FTs. Exact money on Diaz, TAA->Palmer, 4.0

Thinking VdB. Any reason to think he'll get rotated soon? Would likely need to start him for at least a few weeks. Cheers all

Unlikely that Rico Henry will be back next GW I guess
I love his price point at 4.3m and IPS, BOU, eve, LEI in next 5, but maybe a bit early to jump on…

    1. AlleRed
      • 8 Years

Believe I saw he got 45 minutes behind closed doors and that Frank would ease him in over the next couple weeks. Probably slightly too early but like the thought, enjoyable to watch and involved. I'm curious to know if he and VdB are expected to start in the same XI

Yeah that's the thing that puts me off VdB a bit - how Brentford line-up when Henry back and also the combo of Henry + Mbeumo + Wissa could be outstanding value. Rico in particular got 2 assists preseason and was playing nearly as LW at times. But a bit early, I think.

    1) Mbeumo and Son for Martinelli and Salah?

    4) None?

    1. AlleRed

I think I'm holding Salah. Might have missed the Gvard goal boat, hard to say. I'd be more intrigued if City looked like they wouldn't concede each week. I do think Mbeumo's almost non-negotiable rn, so maybe Mart to him and one other move if you need to generate funds to do it

I love how Sels, this 'terrible keeper', is somehow managing to tip Eze's rocket on to the crossbar while Wood the 6 yard box merchant scores from outside the box on a half volley to wipe Henderson's CS. Two more blanks.

Would you play Havertz this week or ditch for a cheapie?

    Can't decide between

    Wood - on form
    Raul - on form
Wissa - quite like him but just come back

Havertz has scored in every single home game this season in all competitions (some easier opponents but also PSG), I'd be tempted to keep if Saka is back.

Believe the stats and fixtures are comparable. I'd be more comfortable with Wissa if I knew he'd get starts/90s (unsure if Frank will ease him a bit more). I'd probably just go cheapest here as that may help fund something else down the road

Worth having as a 4.4 enabler I think as fixtures are improving. Basically plays like a winger sometimes. Have to be patient with him but capable of monster hauls. Considering wolves have had one of the worst set of fixtures to start a prem league I’ve ever seen he’s scored ok for a winless team. Surely can only improve.

Not sure to be honest. I thought you only got penalised more for 'frivolous' appeals. Considering the initial call was yellow theres a lot of areas they could contest it, mostly around the idea a player near the halfway line is ever capable of being denied a clear goalscoring opportunity. I dont think its been confirmed yet how many games hes got but most likely 1. It may be wishful thinking on my part as a Saliiba owner lol.

It was too clear. No reason to appeal imo.

Will Keane make one more appearance before Branthwaite replaces him?

Repost because of 0 answers under article that had gone:

    Time to WC? Y/N?

    Hendo*/ Valdimarsson
    TAA*, Rico L, Gabriel, Barco(*)
    Son, Johnson, Mbeumo, Rogers, ESR*
    Haaland, Delap(*), Havertz*

0 ft, 2.9 itb (Saka to Son done)

Really torn with this. Basically too little reasons to WC, but I am falling behind from "ideal" team, because selling Havertz and possibly TAA to move funds to midfield simply has too high transfer cost now. Arsenal and Liv facing each other now isn't optimal either when Raul does the job ESR was supposed to do. Henderson out as rage transfer wouldn't feel bad. Onana, Sanchez or Sels in. Foden in vs Sou as a place holder for Saka/Salah just might work. Or not. Does waiting make my team better?

it doesn't scream WC to me, , are you out of free transfers?

      Think Havertz
      can score.

As a Palace fan, I want to rage Hendo out as well and he isn't in my team 🙂

    TAA & Diaz -> Ait Nouri & Son (-4)?
