Really don't understand why all these "pros" (read: people who got top 10k finishes back when no one except no lifers took the game seriously and now use it to get followers on twitter) who arent even active in the FFS community are given so much importance with articles.

Give me the opinions of someone who is active in the regular threads/posts on here over people like FPL General or FPL Family (lol) any day of the week...

    Raya
    Ait Nouri Gomez Gabriel
    Saka Palmer(c) Salah Semenyo
    Welbeck Pedro Isak

    Bentley Mbeumo Aina Greaves

2 free transfers, 0.6m in the bank

How would you upgrade this team? I can downgrade Mbeumo to Enzo/Amad and do Welbeck to Jackson but wouldn't that leave me with various potential issues down the line (and 0 free transfers to deal with them)? Maybe keep it simple and just roll?

    1. David Parkinson
      • 3 Years

Welbeck is beginning to look like the issue here. I don't think Dibling is a bad 5th mid in this set-up, if you wanted to go beyond Jackson.

Yeah chatgpt not very smart at fpl :

    Top Priority Transfer Suggestions
    Out: Timber
In: Tyrick Mitchell (Crystal Palace, £4.5m)

Reason: Cheap, starting defender with clean sheet potential. Crystal Palace has favorable fixtures.
Alternative: Ben White (Arsenal) if you can stretch your budget, offering attacking potential and a solid defense.
    Out: Jackson
    In: Darwin Núñez (Liverpool, £7.4m)

Reason: In great form and part of Liverpool's high-scoring attack. If Darwin is out of budget, Evan Ferguson (Brighton, £6.0m) or Wissa (Brentford, £6.1m) are good alternatives.
    Out: Onana
    In: Areola (West Ham, £4.3m)

Reason: West Ham has better clean sheet prospects and frees up funds for other transfers.
One Transfer Suggestion (Based on Priorities)
    Transfer Out: Timber
    Transfer In: Ben White (Arsenal)
Arsenal has solid fixtures, and White offers a good balance of clean sheet potential and attacking contributions.
Let me know if you'd like to explore other strategies!

Yeah Im obv not that familiar with it, but on other topics it says it reviews "reputable" websites/info on any specific topic.... see that it doesn't update info , and obviously it doesnt incorporate "everything that exists "

That said, it didn't state that its info is from old data, and was definitive about making fpl recommendations, which obviously it cant do if its not reviewing current info

My last answer is based on general trends and player performances up to December 2024, but it does not include real-time updates, such as injuries, suspensions, or the most recent fixtures/results. To ensure the advice is accurate for this gameweek:

Player Form and Fixtures: Data is current to the most recent trends of the 2024/25 season but may not reflect form changes in the last week or two.
Injuries/Suspensions: I cannot automatically account for breaking news on player availability unless requested to browse live updates.

Yeah looks like you're wrong :

For your Fantasy Premier League team, here is a transfer recommendation based on the latest injury updates and performances for Gameweek 15:

              Team:
Onana, Gvardiol, Dalot, Timber, Salah, Palmer, Saka, Bruno, Mbeumo, Jackson, J. Pedro

              Key Observations:
              Injuries and Availability:

Dalot (Manchester United): Faces strong competition in defense and hasn't consistently delivered attacking returns
              PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS

              FANTASY FOOTBALL SCOUT
              .
Mbeumo (Brentford): Still a reliable pick but could be affected by Brentford's struggles due to key injuries like Rico Henry and Mathias Jensen
              PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS
              .
Jackson (Chelsea): Inconsistent returns and Chelsea's attack remains unpredictable
              FANTASY FOOTBALL SCOUT
              .
              Top Performers to Target:

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa): A consistent forward option with strong form, though check his knock status before the deadline
              PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS
              .
Darwin Núñez (Liverpool): Good fixtures and form; Liverpool's attack is creating plenty of chances
              PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS
              .
Jarrod Bowen (West Ham): Another midfield option who is delivering attacking returns regularly
              FANTASY FOOTBALL SCOUT
              .
              Recommended Transfers:
              Out: Jackson
              In: Darwin Núñez

Liverpool has a favorable run of fixtures, and Núñez is in good form with consistent minutes.
              Alternative Midfield Swap:

              Out: Mbeumo
              In: Bowen
If you're looking for a midfielder, Bowen is a strong pick with West Ham performing well.
These moves could give your team a balance of consistent performers and potential explosive returns in upcoming weeks. Make sure to monitor any last-minute injury news closer to the deadline!

                Recommended Transfers

                Captaincy Choices

    2FT, 3.0 ITB, thoughts?

    Raya - Valdimarsson
    Gabriel - Ait-Nouri - Colwill - Greaves - Bednarek
    Salah - Palmer - Saka - Mbuemo - Rogers
Cunha - Joao Pedro - Strand Larsen

A: Greaves & Mbuemo to TAA & Enzo (and bench Colwill)
B: Greaves to TAA (and start either Mbuemo / Rogers)
    C: Roll

    TAA vs FUL
    Timber vs EVE
    Porro vs Sou

Most excited I've been for my defences prospects all season.

And Ait nouri (IPS) on the bench...

The Forest/Villa matchup is messing up my lineup.

I have Gabriel to start, but have Aina on the bench. Should I:
    A) replace Gabriel for Aina
    B) leave Aina on the bench
    B) add Aina and take out an attacker (Rogers or Wissa are my options)

Also, should Amad start over Rogers or Wissa?

for me, Rogers is the one to start of the three. Start Gab- he will either start or not play i think.

    Stuck on this one...

Lewis & Hojlund > Kerkez & Isak or Evanlinson & TAA

I like the first option: Kerkez & Isak.

I'm playing Højlund this GW, over Rogers. Also has good fixtures after that

    What’s my priority? just 1ft, 0.2 it’s

    verbruggen (Fab)

    RAN-Gvardiol-Hall (Digne-Maz)
    Salah-Palmer-Saka-Rogers (Mbuemo)
    Cunha-Pedro-Jackson

    1. Roll
    2. Gvardiol > Saliba/Timber

Also am I set right- not sure about goalie and which front 8 to bench. On Mbuemo atm as their away form is so poor…

    cheers all!
