Stat wise it's very similar imo, Flekken usually gets more saves

Both will likely concede but I'd probably go Fab after BRI got pumped in their last game.

Is Robinson of Fulham being overhyped? He's an excellent player with nice fixtures but Fulham are no Forest defensively.

    1. _Greg
      • 15 Years
      1 year, 4 days ago

That's why Andersen at 4.2m as your 5th defender could be the play.

      1. Jet5605
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 4 days ago

Indeed. He cost £30m and so will be nailed when fit. Also pops up with the odd headed goal.

I also think Lewis Hall is overhyped. Yes he's just had a 15 pointer but look at his points before that. NEW have tricky fixtures after IPS

      2. The Iceman
        • 3 Years
        1 year, 4 days ago

Went there earlier in the season @ 4.3 and he was rubbish whilst Robinson continued to tick over the points, he then got injured. Never again.

          • 11 Years
          1 year, 4 days ago

I think you were probably unlucky with Andersen. He wasn't that injury prone when he was with Palace. At 4.2 I think he's worth the risk when comparing him with the likes of VDB, Burgess, O'Shea etc.

          1. The Iceman
            • 3 Years
            1 year, 4 days ago

Oh as a cheap rotation option sure (also like Huijsen for this), but he won't outscore Robinson. At the moment I am targeting one of those as my Greaves replacement once I don't have any other fires to put out.

    2. The Mentaculus
      • 4 Years
      1 year, 4 days ago

I guess the hype is probably peaking now but at least Fulham are no Wolves/Ipswich so he's not as exclusively reliant on attacking returns as e.g. RAN/Davis. 7th for xGC, 3rd for big chances conceded; they'll pick up some CS and there could easily be a 12pt-er coming up.

I wouldn't necessarily rip up my team for him if you already have a solid defence of ARS/LIV/NFO, but I certainly don't think those doing RAN - Robinson will regret it.

I do also believe, FPL aside, he is now one of, if not the best, allround LBs in the league

      1. Jet5605
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 4 days ago

Agree he is great for those in the market for a RAN replacement and I think is destined for bigger things than FUL. Wouldn't be surprised to see him at one of the so called elite clubs next season.

My WC is active and the only way I can shoehorn him in is to sacrifice Munoz or double ARS defence. CRY have some nice fixtures coming up after this weekend and I think Munoz could also be seeing some big scores.

    A)
    Bruno
    Wissa
    Enzo

    B)

If he does appeal it surely won't take them that long to review his response. If the referee didn't see it (which it looks like he didn't) they won't need to speak to him or refer to his report and will just go on the video evidence which they have already reviewed.

If cunha plays then I’m probably holding off Isaac until week 21 and just hoping to ride out Christmas. If he doesn’t then there is a bit of a re-structure to take place.

Sounds like we will know on Thursday if he appeals and hopefully we get something definitive before the deadline on whether he can play.

It’s such a good fixture for him it would be great if he can play. League cup matches on Thursday anyway so no need to make a transfer until closer to the deadline anyway.

Robinson as the 2-4th def or Andersen as the 4-5th? Andersen would replace Greaves, meanwhile Robinson would replace RAN. Trying to still balance the value in my defense for the future.

Have the exact money for Rogers to Amad but would probably have to pull the trigger tonight. It is a bit of a luxury transfer but with my poor rank (2,3m) and the upside in Amad it kind of makes sense. Would give BOU wol NEW (Amad) instead of MCI new BRI (Rogers)

Think it was just the fixtures from GW6 & most of them resent it now tbf, but just don't want to spend an FT on a GK. Getting Pickford on WC6 was probably one of my best decisions this season (selling him in the blank maybe not so much...)

Rotating Flekken and Fab gave me an average of over 4 points per game the last 5GWs. Sels didn't even average 3 points per game and I won't be wasting a FT on a GK.

How possible is that we will get two double gameweeks in a span of 3 GWs? If not possible, then GW24 looks like a good opportunity to play the AM chip if Liverpool gets the postponed Everton game?

A double of Bournemouth and Everton, Wolves at home and then transfer Slot out for Arteta for West Ham home game.

    Hi all.
    Sels
    Gabriel Gomez Robinson
    Salah Iwobi Saka Palmer
    Jackson Havertz Isak

    Bench :-
    Muric Enzo Lewis Greaves

Is this team too ‘top heavy’ Havertz seems to me a bit of a luxury at the moment as he isn’t getting any returns and I feel I’m better off getting Arsenal defence but I’m not sure what to do with the extra money off I downgrade him to someone like Raul or Pedro etc. maybe I could strengthen my midfield a little more. What do you guys think? Cheers…
