Anyone else thinking of playing Aston Villa players like Rogers this week?

I fancy them at home with the way City are at the moment.

I reckon Emery will have something up his sleeve having lost the last game and with a week to prepare.

Close between him and Enzo this GW for me. Certainly wouldn't be selling Rogers to Amad/Enzo when there's probably better use of FTs elsewhere

I have both Robertson and Cunha.

Considering Robertson may still start - having served his ban in the cup.
+ If Cunhas ban dosent come into affect to next GW...
    Both could potentially start?

    A. Robertson > Hall
    B. Cunha > Raul
    C. Both for -4

Considering the hit as I will probably do these moves eventually anyway (especially Cunha) and will fund Isak and probably Jota in future.

Botman being back end of the month kills Hall as a medium term option. Howe loves Burn.

With Tsimikas edging closer, Robbo's days look numbered. Sadly becoming a liability. Hall looks okay as long as Burn doesn't challenge when Botman returns. Raul is less appealing but if he's a makeweight then he's fine.

If my players get through tonight I'm doing TAA + Welbeck -> 4.0 + Isak for free.

    Looks gtg right?

    Sanchez
    Timber - Robinson - Hall
    Salah (C) - Palmer - Saka - Bruno - Bowen
    Isak - Wood

    (Fabianski, Evanilson, Kerkez, 4.0)

Midfield slightly too strong hence the Trent dumping. Just an observation, not a debating point.

        Ye I agree.

My current plan is to do the 4.0 and Bowen -> Munoz and Eze in another 2 GWs. That is if Eze looks a bit better and gets a bit more gametime.

Think that would look like a strong squad going into the new year 😉

Thoughts on these moves for 2FT. Would love Isak but this defence needs work.

    Sels
    Gabriel, Gomez, VDB
    Saka, Palmer (C), Salah, Mbeumo
    Havertz, Pedro, Jackson

    Fab, Rogers, Greaves, Bednarek

    A) Havertz, Greaves > Raul, Robinson
    B) Havertz, Mbeumo > Isak, Amad

I’d prioritise getting Isak in, who’s going to get you more points than any defenders you could get.

Your D is fine, none of the defenders this year are doing anything great anyway.

      Arne Slot on Diogo Jota:

I like those moves but would have to agree that it's probably a better move to make next week. You have to give the Brentford lads the home fixture where both Mbeumo and Wissa have consistently returned.

Obviously Isak is going v well, but without wanting to sacrifice Mbeumo and Wissa this week there's a bit of a dilemma.

After Ipswich the Newcastle fixtures turn tougher for their next 3 games and tbf the tractor boys aren't a walkover either.

Would you hold your Brentford boys this week?

Ideally I'd lose Pedro and Semenyo first but with just £1m itb it's not that straightforward.

    1. The Tonberry
      • 1 Year
      1 year, 1 day ago

In this form I'd have Isak in the team irrespective of the fixtures. He's returned against Arsenal and Liverpool already this season.

Tough call as I would want at least one of the Brentford attackers in for a home game. Can you do Mbeumo and Pedro to Isak and a cheap mid?

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member
        • 10 Years

I can get Enzo easily enough and there's routes to Iwobi as well by losing Pedro.

The thing is, despite the fixture turning I'd like to keep Mbeumo so might seek to roll again and then switch out Wissa, Pedro and Semenyo.

Tonight could throw a few cats amongst pigeons on red cards or injuries etc too.

    To get Isak for free

    Bruno -> Amad
    Pedro -> Isak

    Would give me:

    Amad, Saka, Salah, Palmer (Winks)
    Isak, Jackson, Cunha

    Yes or no??

    Thoughts on these options folks?

    Raya
    Timber, Robinson, Mazraoui*
    Salah, Palmer, Saka, Bruno
    Jackson, Pedro, Larsen

Vald, Lewis, Kluivert, Davis 0ft 1.2 itb

    A) No hit
    B) Kluivert to Amad, bench Pedro -4
    C) Pedro to Hojlund or Wood -4

    Thank you

Of those moves C is better to Wood I think but I wouldn't take a hit.

It's so tight this season that a hit normally means a red arrow is incoming.
