Is Ait-Nouri expected to drop today? Showing up 0% on livefpl and fplstatistics after being predicted to drop whole day? Can someone enlighten me on this, Thanks!

Saka to Diallo and Cunha to Isak? I can sell Bruno for Saka when he's back, and Diallo should cover for him nicely.

Will leave enough ITB for Cunha > Jackson for GW19 (happy to bench Cunha for GW18).

No. While Haaland has good fixtures, so does Salah and Palmer and they are in much better form.

15m is too much for a player if you're not perma captaining him and he's not getting hat tricks every other week.

Saka injury actually came at a good time.

Havertz - Jackson - Joao Pedro

    Slicker - Eze* - RAN* - Barco*

Depending on who you’re planning to bring in with your WC, I think you could still hold til next week and just swap Saka for a Bowen or Jota (depending on how minutes look) on a one-week punt against sou or lei.

I was set to go Ait-Nouri > Munoz but after Palace shipped 5 goals vs Arsenal is this still a good option? Feels like it might be jumping from one trap to another.

    1. Honker Muddlefoot
      • 6 Years
      1 year, 1 day ago

I’d still make the move. I think over the larger sample size of the past few months, Palace’s defence has proven itself fairly solid and could still view today as a blip against a strong side and title contender. Plus, Muñoz attacking threat could be nice to utilize with the coming set of fixtures.

      1. Waylander
        • 9 Years
        1 year, 1 day ago

That was the idea with Ait-Nouri at Wolves and look how that turned out. I'll think on it.

        1. Honker Muddlefoot
          • 6 Years

To me, the difference is Wolves were looking really bad defensively, and we hoped that was just the byproduct of tough fixtures and the fixture swing would change things, and it turned out that Wolves are just bad defensively, whereas I think Palace have looked more solid defensively for a couple of months now, and they have BOU, SOU, LEI, WHU, EVE, and a BRE side that struggles on the road in their next 8 fixtures. At 4.7, it’s not a terrible roll of the dice.

I think his attacking threat is slightly overrated. He gets in good spots, but his finishing leaves a lot to be desired. Palace has a good defence, but nothing spectacular.
A good asset for his price, just don't set the bar too high.

Have 3 FT and will WC in GW 19. What’s the better move for Saka replacement if he’s ruled out: Saka, Cunha, Brennan > Bowen, Jesus, Jota for one week punt against sou, IPS, LEI, or just Cunha and Saka > Isak (move a week earlier and avoid more price rises) and either Bowen or Jota and roll other transfer into WC?

    Currently on:
    Raya
    TAA Gabriel Jedi
    Mo Palmer Saka BJ Amad
    Cunha Joao Pedro

    Virginia Evanilson RAN Ben Johnson
    3 FT, 0.6 ITB

Personally I don't like the plan. Jesus has hardly played all season and I doubt he starts the next game with his injury history after 90 mins Thursday and 90 yesterday. Same goes for Jota, only played 11 minutes last week after a long injury layoff, so a big risk IMO.
I would just do Saka to whoever you like (Amad vs Wolves would be my pick) and bench Cunha for Evanilson. Save the FTs so that you have some banked in case the WC moves don't work out. Good luck.

Cheers, mate! I really appreciate the feedback, and for talking me down off the transfer ledge. My hope prior to the Saka injury was just to roll next week and bank the transfers going into WC, like you said. Good reminder to take a breath and keep my eye on the bigger picture.

I do have Amad in my side already. Think just Saka to Bowen at SOU/different ARS mid home to IPS next week and subbing Evanilson in for Cunha like you suggested could tide me over and get me through the week?
