This evening’s match at the King Power Stadium rounds off Gameweek 31 – and there’s plenty of interest from a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) perspective.

Leicester City v Newcastle United gets underway at 20:00 BST.

There’s been some back-and-forth speculation about Newcastle’s teamsheet on social media and elsewhere on Monday, with many would-be ‘in the knows’ outing themselves as ‘do not knows’.

In the end, it’s nice and simple: the Magpies are unchanged from Gameweek 30.

So Alexander Isak is fit, Kieran Trippier is fit and Joelinton is fit.

Anthony Gordon is not, failing to make even the bench in Leicester. Eddie Howe had revealed he was a significant doubt in his pre-match presser.

The Foxes themselves are as they were for the defeat to Manchester City. Ruud van Nistelrooy has, in fact, named the same team for the fourth Gameweek running.

Isak captainers will be hoping to buck the trend of the most-captained ‘active’ players of Gameweek 31 with a return or two tonight:

PlayerCaptained byPts
Salah5,258,5992
Isak1,269,412?
Palmer490,1661
Marmoush256,5492
Watkins204,4932

The Magpies won 4-0 in the reverse fixture, with Isak returning a double-digit haul at St James’ Park.

Really unsure what to do with Kluivert on BB next week. Rogers the obvious replacement long term but worried he'll be a no show next GW. Enzo, Elanga, Mitoma other options.

Why would rogers be a no show risk? Champs league?

FPL just isn't fun. It brings much more misery then fun and joy if you think about it. Most weeks you will do average or get a red, in some weeks you will do well, but they are few and far between.

I got a very small green this week so you'd think I should be happy, but honestly IDGAF about a tiny green. Just another wasted garbage GW.

    Starting to detest this game.

Did your season get wiped out by Jacob Murphy too?

Not wiped out, but yes he has annoyed me a great deal. Murphy has literally saved everyone this week. Always some bs like this occurs.

Don't think I've enjoyed a gameweek since GW17. Been playing very hands off this year, but I'm gonna go back to not playing at all next season. I'd say to enjoy the football, but the entertainment level is at an all time low right now.

Yeah was either going Glasner and Sarr this week or Frank as I thought they could beat Chelsea. That game was so so dull. Not sure if Chelsea are going for a Cl spot or not

Still going Sarr to Murphy as that was the plan within budget and hope Kluivert starts but Mbeumo away to Arsenal isn't the worst either

It wasn't dull on Saturday lol

Murphy owner but an Isak captainer, frustrated by what could have been. So disappointing when you take on the crowd like that, a door opens with Salah’s blank and it still doesn’t come off

Would martinez Saka Saliba and Digne be a bench boost option this week or are there too many risks about minutes because of champions league?

Saliba and Martinez should be fine. Saka will play but not 90. I'm planning to BB with him. Digne if he plays in Europe I'd be very nervous about. If you don't do it now, when and would it be any better?

Maybe 33 if Villa and or arsenal were eliminated from champions league.
