After a record day for traffic on the site, we’re expecting a further surge for this morning’s crunch before deadline. As a result, we’ve opened our Surgery Chatroom nice and early to help relieve the pressure on comments and give you the option of real-time feedback.

A reminder to our members that the members area has its own domain at members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk should we experience any issues on the main site this morning.

The wait for the new season is almost over, the urge to carry out last minute tinkering building. We’ll follow this up with the first Pre-amble of the season and there we’re over to the Dugout Discussion just before the fist kick-off at 3pm. Exciting.

            When VDV is fit I prefer him over Bale anyday, and with Defoe as their main striker I can see him being pushed in to a forward role

          Like podolski punt upfront.
          Pretty good but they're too much gamble for me.
          Sorensen could take begovic place
          Valencia could play instead of Raf and zabaleta also risky when richard returns (day4 or 5)

          You can't make a team without risk but you take too much for me.

    Ramires was playing as an RAM pre-season right... and he had that assist in the Community Shield inspite of Mata... Just asking the age old questions... Mata/Ramires/Lamps/Hazard... hopefully we'll get a big vote going here and reach a consensus... I'm still on Mata btw
