Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is well and truly back – and so with it comes all the associated agony and occasional ecstasy.

At the end of Saturday’s Gameweek 1 action, our Scoreboard rounds up all the action.

Included in this article are the day’s leading teams and players for shots, chances created and expected goals (xG). This is official Opta data taken from our Members Area.

And, new for 2025/26, we’ll also round up Saturday’s defensive contribution (DC/DefCon) points, too.

These stats are available for our subscribers immediately after full-time in every Premier League game.

                You might consider that it isn’t worth getting either Saka or Gyökeres for one game week given the following fixtures and just rode out with the ones you have chosen until their fixtures swing.

      Think I’m happy with that, Reijnders, Mayenda & triple Spurs defence made the day, Arsenal boys could be key tomorrow to a good start.

                  I totally agree. Just typical FPL rage from myself.
                  However I may bench Bowen and play Reijnders next GW, smh.
                  West Hams fixtures take a dive now, was really hoping to get something out of that game and be more optimistic.

        You could hope Spurs have City's number again? I'm in a similar position due to Konsa but with Porro. I know Porro sored in the same fixture last season, a 15 pointer if I'm not mistaken, but surely City address the Spurs hoodoo one day.
