        I suspect the fact that Mateta had Arsenal and Europa upcoming meant he was off the menu for the last week or so

          true maybe. just he grabbed it straight away after it was given, was the same vs wham. the two had chat and he kept hold of the ball while var checked, think saka is just on them now

        i think gross had 5 pts with no assist/goal at old trafford a few seasons ago. but yes defcon obviously helps 🙂

      maybe reijnders to paqueta if he looks good monday, but the team looks solid. could save. pedro can become mateta next gw if he doesnt do enough to satisfy owners vs sunderland

    I will probably wait until Isak drops after blanking tomorrow, and then do Rich -> Isak later in the week, but let's speculate in case I feel adventurous and cause it's fun. SI first get rid of

    A) Reijnders
    B) Lacroix (I have Munoz too and I think CP's blanks are history)

    I have Sarr too, so although it's unlikely that I'd want to get Mateta, freeing up a CP slot could make sense pre-emptively. At the same time, I feel Reijnders is essentially a 4.5M bench warmer that costs 5.5M. I guess I wouldn't mind starting him like GW 13 and onwards for a few weeks, but I doubt I'd mind not having him then either.

      I think isak is way overpriced , not on pens, might not start all games, pool sharing goals, plus pool not exactly on top form

      a) makes sense, you're right to compare to 4.5 bench warmer 🙂

      would say reijnders as i dont think lacroix is doing much wrong for his price. not i would write their defence off just yet, fixtures ease up post arsenal and can see some cs coming in

        Thank you! I feel European football (even if not the highest level) will be quite a strain for Palace, and can definitely see them making mistakes that turn into conceded goals simply because of that.

    erm, just wondering is semenyo still worth it a 8? got cunha and could sell today before cunha drops. not much to be gained getting him now in terms of rank and stats have slowed down abit last 4 but yeah

    also any Sunderland fans' do you think mukiele might stay at RB? really like the look of ballard. i know reinildo comes back into the fold but not sure if he just comes in for hume

      Semenyo has scored like 50% more points than any other midfielder. He's also blanked only twice this season. I think you wouldn't be asking this question if his name was Salah.

      dubvraka and sunderland defence ownership seems very high around these parts ngl

      just abit more than you but am still very happy with 68 with 4 to go on fh. maybe missed a few hauls but oh well

      Unfortunately double chip season means it will be v hard to do well in a week you don't deploy one to good effect

      60 is the safety score right now, this week

      So the week to week needs to be moderated to Gw19 then 38.

      You are having a decent week. There is a bias to people posting the good and not the bad

      Like I would never post about how I switched at Mukiele on WC at the last minute for Kilman. Or not owning Gabriel. And stuff like that

        It's also true that the only two chips that actually enhance your score when it works out are BB and TC.

        They used to be once a year and deployed in a fairly uniform manner, now there's more variability and usage

        .... so those hitting a decent BB or TC will outscore the crowd by definition.

        So more chips may ultimately lead to less engagement, as more people are disappointed, week to week.

        And I think most importantly you won't see people posting the mediocre.

        You see people who are excited and/or want to brag about their score and you see people who felt they did absolutely terrible. But you won't see a flood of people telling how they scored 44 points today.

      People here brag only when they have excellent score. Often after using one chip. So even if 20 people (or 5--10) brag about their score and 500-1000 are silent, it's only normal. These people don't brag every week 😉

    Evening all.

    Could anyone please advise me of who is more likely to partner Chalobah at centre back for the foreseeable future? Tricky i know but i want a piece of their defence. Only have 4.9m

    to spend. Acheampong played today & always seems to do well for someone so young. Is Tosin the preferred partner when fit? Colwill has a long term injury.

    Fofana is back. Badiashile also injured but don't know how bad or if he's preferred when fit.

    Bit confused on this. Like i say i want some Chelsea cover if possible otherwise with 4.9m i'll have to look elsewhere.
