SCOUT: After review, the assist for Arsenal’s first goal is awarded to Bukayo Saka. His cross was deflected by Sam Johnstone onto the woodwork before rebounding off Johnstone into the goal. As stated in the rules, if an own goal is scored following a deflected pass, an assist is awarded. There is only one defensive touch before the own goal is scored by Johnstone.

  C’mon mate… you can analyse the FPL rules and make them fit either agenda, depending which side of the fence you sit… but at the end of the day… take the rule intricacies out of the picture… it’s an assist… Saka’s involvement has directly led to that goal… the correct decision has been made! (For once!)

  „If an own goal is scored directly following a save, block or a shot rebounding off the woodwork, an assist is awarded.” - from the same paragraph. Johnstone save is one touch. Second touch is the own goal event. The above rule wouldn’t make sense if the event of scoring the own goal would be counted as a second defensive touch. Therefore, two defensive touches must occur BEFORE the goal (also an own goal) is scored for the assist not to be awarded.

    Someone touching/kicking/heading the ball does not equal goal.

    If Martinelli miskicks the ball in the opposing box and the ball moves towards his own goal, doesn't make it a non-attacking action or some other nonsense. Same for defensive.
    
    Pretty sure by "defensive" in the rules is meant the team, unless they have a person or a team that interprets such things. Do you honestly think that they do?

I am very sorry for having to post this. I also will never travel to Russia after this. But it seems that "Qaiss" and "make fpl casual again" are ruzzian trolls acting against Ukrainians, O Zinchenko has been named az a hypocrite, they are for Putin's agenda etc. Some of their flagged messages have been removed, thx for that. I have some posts saved, but not all of them.

I hope that all ruzzian trolls stop using this site for propaganda and that moderation keeps on stopping them. If law and protecting human rights become a question, I expect even FPL Virgin to do his part in stopping everything that us bad

      I have 5FTs, I am 0.1 off Eze & Guiu to ekitike & devenny. I can also get rid of KDH for Stach to afford it though but takes 3FTs. Very stuck

        Wieffer at 4.9 (4 yellows I think) looked good to me. You don't want to play Stach anyway. It's annoying that 0.1 costs one transfer, but it can't be helped. Therefore get the cheapest ok backup.
