I just got back from holiday where, under the influence of too much Côtes du Ventoux, I took an 8 pt hit to flip Rooney, Torres, and Marveaux to RVP, Graham, and Barfa. Obviously it worked out, but it also made sense because I needed to do it to field 11 for GW3.
Now, buoyed by that success, I am thinking of an 8-pointer again. I already did Bale to Hazard for my FT, but having seen Cazorla today I want him in my team (a) for his home fixture with Southampton and (b) because his price is sure to rise the max over the next two weeks. I want to do:
Pienaar and Zab => Cazorla and Cuellar
Or
Pienaar and Ivan => Cazorla and McCauley/Gibbs
Both for -8.
Mad to do it at all? If not, which one? The result would be a front eight of:
Hazard, Michu, Cazorla, Barfa, Guthrie
RVP, Tevez, Graham

Open ControlsSeems that Laudrup encourages all his fullbacks to bomb forward. Davies did go forward a lot when he first came on but later stayed back a bit more as Swansea seemed to be a bit vulnerable during the game against Sunderland. Still a great option at 4M.
