This was a Gameweek littered with outstanding performances, particularly in midfield where the array of talent jostling for spots in our squad now presents a major headache. This week’s bumper edition of “Big Numbers” for members carries out the usual exploration of the stats behind the Gameweek, with midfield options across all the price brackets gaining momentum and our keen interest…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Is it just me or did Wellbeck on the wing just crowd things up in the middle for Kag?
    Evra was playing wide on the left more than Wellbeck. Valencia played cover for Raphy as much as he played mid. Seemed to be part of the mess that is MANU defence.
    I could ramble on but Ill stop now.

      Welbeck drifted in and wasn't helping, there was no option out wide until Nani and Scholes came on, which gave us more shape, and allowed Evra to sit back a bit more.

      Now I know why SAF keeps going away from Rafael. Even when he was playing defense, he was useless on the Lambert goal.

        Kagawa struggles when players infiltrate his space. Nani drifting infield in GW1 and Welbeck doing the same in GW3. If the wingers stay wide he can prosper

    Really need help deadzone!!!

    Is the Bale>Hazard transfer essential???

    DDG/Fred
    Ivan/Zab/Cue/Hughes/Bennett
    Cazorla/Bale/Michu/Noble/Kac
    RVP/Teves/Graham

    Even if i bring in Hazard, I would not give him the armband in GW4. (it would go to RVP or Tevez). Bale does have good back to back fixtures. My defense/GK need work.

    The decision to take the hit would be PURELY FINANCIAL. I am struggling with the same issue

    Money aside, I think the smart move is to fix defense/GK.

    What would you do?

      I would suggest one of Torres or Hazard is near enough to essential in light of how Chelsea have started the season.

      Bale has failed in 3 games and is going to drop. Hazard is going to rise. Therefore how much do you value 0.2? Is it worth 4 points in your mind? If yes make the transfer.

    Ride deadzoners tell me what you think:

    Jaask (Fed)
    Ivanovich, Baines, Hangeland
    Michu, Hazard, Dembele, Larsson
    Rvp, Tevez, Petric

    Noble, Cuellar, Clyne

    Already use my free transfer on Hazard and i'm happy enough with it apart from Larsson and Petric.
    Really want HBA in there and he has no international matches. But Petric may be the priority though theres no forwards in the budget range that appeal much at the moment. Worth -4 to do one of these?

    - Larsson -> HBA
    - Petric -> Lambert
    - Petric ->

    (not interested in Fletcher or Graham as my rival has them and I've been giving him crap for copying my players lately)

    For large parts of that game United played without a left winger as Welbeck drifted more central. This is why Kagawa wasn't so influential as players crowded his space. Welbeck is not a winger and for me he should take more of the blame than Kagawa for Uniteds inept performance for much of the game. The game changed when we switched to a 442 with wingers that stayed in their positions.

    My team is:

    Schwarzer / Jaaskelainen
    Baines / Zabaleta / Harte / Hangeland / Vertonghen
    Hazard / Pienaar / Michu / Kagawa / Noble
    Torres / Tevez / Graham

    My biggest concern is the lack of RVP. I'm also not happy with Schwarzer, Zabaleta, Harte, Hangeland, Vertonghen, Noble, Kagawa or Graham. I'm seriously considering the WC. I would appreciate any advice going forward into the international break.

    Bale's price will fall today.
    Should I ditch him for Cazorla/Hazard?
    Or wait till international friendlies get over?

    OK, bit the bullet and Wildcarded. Do your worst:

    Vorm Jaas
    Demel Ridewell, Rangel, Clyne, Clark
    Michu, Nolam, HBA, Hazard, Guthrie,
    RVP, Tevez, Torres

    Would it be better to buy Mertesacker instead of Rangel? Is he more likely to rise (Then swap him)?
