Our Members Area now includes updated projections for the remaining matches of the season as a whole and the next six Gameweeks.

Although these were originally devised as pre-season projections, we’ve worked with Chris Atkinson’s Rate My Team model to ensure that we keep them ticking over and have been updating on a weekly basis. We’ll endeavour to keep that up, although our current aim is to implement the full Rate My Team functionality – work continues on that behind the scenes, with the aim to have RMT delivered to our Members for their January Wildcards.

Just to stress that the projections listed are to cover the remaining matches eg: if a player is listed as scoring 10 goals, these are in addition to the goals he may have scored up to Gameweek 4.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Anybody know a site where I can get stats on goals scored from corners last season for each team?

The default stats in FPL are quite good but don't think they show corners.

    Valdes/Dronov

Fair enough, I just remember he was in the starting team and just noticed his minutes player, was looking at Figueroa's stats but you'd think they'd ease up once he is fully back.

      http://www.clubcall.com/wigan-athletic/latics-hope-for-winger-return-1465187.html

"Roberto Martinez says the international break has come at a good time for Jean Beausejour, who is struggling with a hamstring injury.

Beausejour returned to action when Wigan entertained Stoke at the weekend but had to be replaced by Dave Jones early in the first half after suffering a recurrence of the problem."

      Sounds a bit chronic.

Beausejour was so important to Wigan last year crossing from the left. Figueroa just doesn't cut it...

    Hey Guys,

Considering doing my wildcard ahead of the next GW and thought i'd pick your collective brains.

I'm currently top of my league by about 20 points with the current team:

    Mig, Green
    Clyne, Demel, Rangel, Cashley, Lescott
    Michu, Pienaar, Nolan, Bale, Britton
    RVP, Tevez, Ba

If I wildcard, I could have:

    Mig, Foster
    Baines, Gibbs, Rangel, Demel, Gorkks
    Hazard, Nolan, Michu, Pienaar, Sterling
    RVP, Tevez, Berbatov

    Do you think I should?

    Cheers!

Ok i am 0.3 away from a glorious team I need 3 out of 4 of these things to happen before next saturday -

    Bale to drop once (-53.6)
    Rafael to rise once (+12.3)
    Rangel to rise once (+11.7)
    HBA to rise once (+31.3)

If bale drops twice it makes it easier but I think i'll be struggling what do you's think?

    Updated differentials list.

Chamberlain (7.5) – If he nails down that spot on the wing in place of Walcott. Unlikely though.
Giroud (8.8) – Major gut feel about this one.
Dembele (6.0) – Cheap Tottenham coverage in the ‘doosra’ mould
Shelvey (5.4) – Looks like he has a good shot on him. Influenced the Liv-Ars game very positively once he came on.
Silva (9.6-9.8) – Looks to be finding his form.
Aguero (11-11.1) – No explanation needed.
Valencia (8.9) – Most nailed on from the United midfield, imo.
Ba (7.7) – My bet for most efficient ’3rd’ striker. Newcastle just need to find form.
Snodgrass (5.9) – Loved every bit i saw of him in the Tottenham game.
Zamora (6.4) – If Hughes gets it right, and from what i saw of Granero, he could be a massive pick.
Granero (5.5) – On set pieces. Looked quality on his debut.
Kebe (4.9) & McAnuff (5.2) – Reading have some quality wingers on the cheap. That said, Guthrie at 4.4 and in the hole, you can’t look further.
Lallana & Ramirez (6) – Southampton look good for their goals. An alternative to Lambert.
Peter Crouch (6.5) – Could be useful when Stokes fixtures look better. Adam is still a tad bit expensive.
Sessegnon (7.9) – OOP with better service. His price is a factor working against him.
Dempsey (9.3) – A true sleeper. If he finds form, could easily dispatch Hazard & Cazorla as the big 2 in midfield.
Morisson (6.0) & Lukaku (6.5) – If Wbrom continue their form & if Lukaku nails down his spot, he would be absolutely sensational imo.
Di Santo (5.5) – Found form at the end of last season and seems to have started from there at the beginning of this season. One to watch out for.
Gibbs (5.5) - Nailed on route into the much improved Arsenal defence.
Suarez (9.4) - Someday, he will learn to finish right?
Popov (4.5) - Potential OOP at a bargain price
Wilkinson (4.5) - Charlie Adam on set pieces.

    Got anymore lads?

It's far from insane, so many people have been doing that exact transfer but you've already missed the initial price rise/fall so slightly pointless now, considering Spurs are vs Reading and Adebayor is coming back (higher chance for Bale's crosses to be met by something other than a midget) I don't think Bale is a bad player to have.

Refuse to transfer in due to the internationals, been bitten before by gettin in a player before int's only to see him get mangled. Take the Ade point, it's just that after watching them play Norwich, I don't know if any Spurs player is worth having at present.

    Lads Michu v Dyer debate..

If i keep Dyer in place of Michu it allows me to get a Heavy hitter in defence(Baines/Vermaleen) or allows me to convert my 3rd striker from the 6/6.5(Graham/Petric) to the 8/8.5(Ba, Podolski, Jelavic etc)

On a WC..currently have both and will get rid of one..

People on here who do enjoy a bet what is your best run of betting?

2nd year of Uni in 2008 I got £900 travel expenses and used it to build up some winnings. Started in January when Djokovic won the Australian Open and went on a great run up until about July of 2008. Turned the £900 into 14k which was pretty awesome.

I'm still learning! I guess my only strategy is "set limits on how much you win or lose in one day". If you keep betting when you're losing you can lose all your money, if you keep betting when you're winning you can lose all your winnings...

I was and still am small level mate. It was a one off that I went for as the money was disposable at the time. Such a buzz at the time but you always want more and you start losing silly money on bets. I guess because it was all winnings I didn't treat it like real money at the time.

Yeah it's a bit like when I'm playing roulette at the casino (I play socially with friends), get a win, and gamble it away.

The main thing is that I'm always very reluctant to increase the size of my bets.

OK it's UCL team drafting time!

I do love a bit of UCL fantasy. I see it as FPL with some interesting extras bolted on top. Actually ended up missing the day-to-day substitutions and captain changes we had during Euro Fantasy (which is the same game). At least for me, UCL fantasy is just as educational as it is about rank - the rank's a bonus but not something to get too worked up over unlike FPL rank. You get to learn about promising players from all over Europe, and then you recognize them when your club/rivals/national team play/sign them.
