With so many new statistics available in our Members section this season, the ability to compare players’ performances from last time round becomes handier than ever. Ahead of Norwich’s home clash against West Ham this weekend, we cast an eye on the Canaries midfield and, bypassing their top scoring Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player Robert Snodgrass, delve deeper into the displays of Anthony Pilkington instead:

Pilkington was a frustrating pick last season. Too often susceptible to Paul Lambert’s rotation policy at Carrow Road, the left winger started just 23 games and racked up a total of 1975 minutes but still managed to find the net on eight occasions. This time round, Chris Hughton has installed him as a key figure in the Norwich starting XI, with Pilkington playing every minutes of the club’s three matches so far – while he’s yet to find the net, Pilkington has provided an assist and, as the figures suggest, his potential for attacking returns has definitely taken a turn for the better.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Quick question?

Sterling or Kacanlikic for a 4.5m midfielder to play as and when during the season?

I don't remember seeing a player rise more than .3 in a week so Hazard will rise one more for sure, I think there's some disagreement about whether there's an absolute cap at .3 in a week or if the transfers required to get the fourth price rise has just never happened.

I have both Baines and Ben Arfa in my team, so going with both Begovic and Tevez really doesn't seem optimal. I can take the first one given Baines offers high potential attacking returns but the second one as well sways me towards Vorm.

Well, they scored at Newcastle and showed good signs going forward in that game. We all thought Villa would be a decent attacking side this season and they've shown signs already. Stoke meanwhile are decent at home. Having Tevez sways me Vorm's way however.

Depends entirely on what SAF says tomorrow. I can imagine a reporter asking him 'will RVP play after reports of him being injured in the internationals in midweek?' and he'll say in that unimitable way of his 'yes' and the whole thing will be done and dusted

I would've thought he'd either start or not come on at all. I'd have him in the team, even if SAF confirms he's out 😆

Bailed on Cazorla and Jenk in favor of Baines/Pienaar during my wild card. Too many tough games for Arsenal after this. Also, Sagna coming back. Thoughts? Dont think Cazorla is fixture proof yet.

i reckon baines/pienaar is a really good shout mate... jenkinson will lose his place soon anyway, but cazorla is a form player at the moment so could be a bit risky going without him... still as i said, i think you are all right with the two evertonians... 🙂

I just dont have a place for cazorla with michu, hazard, morrison, pienaar, and ben arfa in the middle. Without Baines, Ive got all cheap defender, so I wanted to add some goal threat to the back.

Really need some advice on my team,

    Foster,
    McCauley, Ivanovic, Jenkinson,
    Michu, Hazard, Fellani, Yaya,
    RVP, Tevez, Fletcher,

    Jaask, Demel, Nolan, Gorkss,

    0.6m in bank

Have been looking at doing Nolan to Guthrie and Fellani to Sant,

    Any thoughts?

Jelavic is looking an attractive proposition as the Newcastle defenders keep dropping out.

Newcastle haven't been at the races this year. Everton might steam-roller them at Goodison.

Maybe, although it may be a case of bus parking under the circumstances - Ba and Cisse only need a smattering of chances per match to score, could sneak a 0-1.
