With just minutes to go before Gameweek 4 is upon us via the early kick-off at Carrow Road, we’ve opened up Dugout Discussion to allow you to share Saturday’s action in real-time with your Fantasy Football peers.

West Ham’s trip to Norwich is followed by a further seven Premier League fixtures with most eyes focused on the teamsheet and events at Old Trafford, as Robin Van Persie carries the hopes and armband for thousands of Fantasy managers against the Latics. Liverpool take on Sunderland in the late-kick off to round matters off.

We’ll follow all today’s action up with a couple of Stock Reports shortly after the whistles start blowing. See you on the other side.

    So the United subs are:

    01 De Gea
    06 Evans
    07 Valencia
    23 Cleverley
    26 Kagawa
    20 Van Persie
    25 Powell

    If 3 subs are made you wouldn't expect a change in GK nor defender. So if United are playing well I expect Powell to come on probably in place of Scholes. If United are struggling RVP will come on along with Valencia and possibly Kagawa or Cleverley.
    Unfortunately I expect a Kagawa 1 pointer but RVP will probably score when he comes on.

    LOL at RVP news.

    I took an 8 pt hit to get him in this morning. Kind of figured he had a good chance of being rested but looking at him potentially rising tonight I figured I may as well get him in.

    Took out Kagawa to fund the move so other than points, which RVP will make up for me over the next few weeks anyway, nothing really lost.

    The rest of the managers above me in my mini league all wildcarded to get him in this gw so I don't feel so bad now, I still have my WC in my back pocket.

        Getting RVP will pay off in long run so not really that bothered..

        Kagawa is not a differential to RVP and if al the players above me have RVP I needed to cover that threat.

        Even if he comes on for a 1pt cameo I will be in the same boat as everyone else above me in my mini league.

    We all know RVP's quality, he can realistically come on with 20 mins to go and score 2. If Utd are winning and he doesn't play, well that's what the VC and subs are for. Chill out, be safe in the knowledge that a lot of people are in the same situation, and most of all enjoy the football 😀

      Yeah, I'm just disappointed I didn't stick the armband on someone else because then I could have made up ground if he comes on for 20 minutes and doesn't do the business. Now I'm sort of in a no win situation...

    Was Lindegaard that brilliant against SOT? Is SAF resting De Gea? Do goalkeepers need rest? Is this type of competition beneficial to a young keeper who lacks confidence?

      The thing is, Fergie has a selection headache as Lindegaard was bought before de Gea just in case a suitable van der Sar replacement was not found. It would be hard on Lindegaard to not give him games but I agree, de Gea needs the no.1 role to be his own and learn from his mistakes which won't come by being dropped.
