Better late then never. In truth, there’s nothing comfortable about this one. We had some nightmarish technical issues that had me tearing at my receding hairline tonight but, we got it done. Just.

The route of the problem was a change of scenery, as Granville and I resorted to staying on home territory to record this latest episode. There was a chance it would end in tears; it almost did.

It is, at least, a bumper episode, with just over 45 minutes of myself and Granville grumbling amidst the regulars on Wednesday evening. With his three point lead at the top of our mini-league, the fact is I couldn’t bear to face my Mancunian rival to discuss the merits of an early wildcards versus points hits, lament the demise of Carlos Tevez and chat about Granville’s night attire.

Grab this online experiment here, or stream using the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Definitely Keep Hazard in favour of Silva until SIlva hits form. As for Bale, I would switch.

        then I will sell Tevez for free up some funds and will make:

        Nolan -> Carzolla
        Tevez -> Lambert

        Yes or No?

    Need advice! Got 2 FT this week and zero money in the bank.

    Team is as follow;

    Bego/Foster
    Rafael/Cueller/Demel/Gallas/Clyne
    HAB/Hazard/Pienaar/Cazorla/Sterling
    RVP/Tevez/Fletcher

    Thinking of using both transfer and getting both Jelly and Baines. Also considering going Gerrard for Hazard? P

    (C) suggestions for those who don't own Pienaar, Baines, Fel or RVP and still has Tevez? Or just is there any other lost soul out there who doesn't own Pienaar, Baines, Fel or RVP and still has Tevez? Maybe we could start a gang or something.

    I do have Michu, Hazard, Caz, Berbs, but I am thinking (C) Jelly this week, and pray he gets 90 minutes and actually does something.

    TW, are you considering a one week punt on your WC? I normally like to get in somebody with the best fixture for the week, to transfer out straight away (unless he has a good run of fixtures), but can't see where I would fit one in. Especially as I already have 3 everton.

    My current front players:

    Santi Hazard Nolan Piennar (Al-Ahmadi)
    Torres Tevez RVP

    Want to get Bale for some Spurs cover, and sacrifice one of the Chelsea guys to do this, giving me an attacking player of all the top six. Also thinking of going with Silva when he's fit and on form in place of Tevez. So which outcome will be best? Will have two frees next week, so a two gameweek process with no hit...

    1.Hazard>Bale and keep Tevez in a 3-4-3
    2.Torres>cheapie + Al-Ahmadi>Bale and keep Hazard and Tevez in a 3-5-2
    3.Hazard>Bale and Tevez>cheapie + Al-Ahmadi>Silva in a 3-5-2 keeping Torres

    A mid of Santi, Bale, Silva, Nolan, Pienaar seems very appealing! With Torres and RVP up front. Plus will eliminate City striker rotation worries 🙂

      Very solid, good balance. You know it's a good team when you read it and think, 'wish I had them'. I'd have Lambo instead of Fletch but that's just personal preference. Also, don't like Ruddy, think there's better depending on cash.

      Good team, like the frontline, great midfield, you will need to shift a bif of money to defence IMO. Jenkinson might be dropped when Sagna is back and Cuellar could be out for a few weeks which leaves only Clyne and Demel

    Doos, i heard rumours that you are not too keen on your defensive prospects. Getting Jaask rather than Foster would allow me to get cuellar rather than Clyne for my 5th defender (aiming for total flexibility), but that would only be worth it is west ham can keep up their solid defense. What do you reckon?

        HA. Not really. I'm planning on playing Baines, Bale and Santi every game, and rotating the other 12 players. I've got it mapped out until GW20, and there are very few selection headaches. At least 3 players have poor away fixtures almost every week.

        There will be plenty of points on my bench, but I've never had a problem with that.

      I am not happy at all. Collins has already caused the loss of two goals directly, and a third indirectly. The tattoos love O'Brien, but I cordially loathe him. There is a gaping hole on our left hand side. Bosingwa would be my pick for this week's points.

        So stick with Foster + Clyne then? That's what I'm leaning towards.

        Also, I think that you misunderstood me the other day, I wasn't wildcarding to avoid an 8pt hit. If I hadn't wildcarded, I would have taken an 8 point hit. Now I have wildcarded. I am actually making 10 changes to my team!!

    Just realised I can do Tevez and Sterling out for Lambert and Bale for a hit. Very temping. Would give me a bench dilemma however as I would have Michu, Hazard, HBA, Bale, Pienaar, Berbs, RVP, Lambert. Should I do it? If so who to bench this week? Michu?

            It's a problem when players are underpriced that you end up benching them because of it. See Sigurdsson and Simpson last year.
            In my head I treat Sterling as though he's 6.5 and Demel as 5.0 as that's what the probably should have been.

          Probably yeah. He's also 4.5 million dearer so he'd have to absolutely dominate him to make it good value. And the points hit. It's just chasing points.

      They're both likely to concede....however...

      Hangeland is likely to concede more than Cashley.
      Cashley has more assist potential than Hangeland.
      Hangeland is a bigger threat for goals on corners - but he is going against City...

      If Chelsea goes back to the wider play, Cashley will certainly have a lot more upside than Hangeland, and is more likely to concede 3 or less.
