If Rooney was a more consistent scorer then I'd probably go for him. The fear is that he drops too deep like someone said, and if United haven't got a hold on the match he comes back even further. Ends up in front of the defence sometimes. I think your right.

sooooo, i used my wildcard this GW, replaced some doubts.... and this happend the weekend:
The players that i got with the free transfers that made some points were Fletcher (8), Dempsey (7) and Sterling (5). Luckly Bent scored a goal (made him captain so 10 pnts) BUT the major bummers were:
Lampard not playing ATT ALL --> whats this deal, can anyone explain??
sold Bale and Vertonghen....
kept Podolski, no role of impartance
got transferd in Baines & Felaini: also no role of importance in the Everton game
transferred in Johnson: gets subbed off around the hour mark...
still Demel and Jussi left with 38 points... on the bench three other newly transferred players: Ivanovic, Dyer, Buttner..... hopefully some good prospects in the near future
