Akers makes his debut on our latest ScoutCast offering, joining us as our third wheel fresh off the back of the most miserable Gameweek points return imaginable. The Scout Picks were to blame apparently – a cunning excuse that I really should keep in reserve; it certainly seemed to keep Mark’s acid tongue at bay.

The new boy isn’t just on board to present his excuses; he’s here to introduce the launch of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup – another chance for the Fantasy Football Scout team to embarrass ourselves with an early exit.

Elsewhere things tick along as expected, with the “All Aboard” appraising the value of this week’s most tempting bandwagons, whilst examining the seemingly infectious condition of jerky knee when it comes to Mr Bale and Mr Carroll. The weekend preview finds Mark adopting a most uncomfortable position; sandwiched between two United fans before he’s forced to abandon the duty free and beach towels to make way for an overly generous selection of Fantasy Island Risks.

    Guys, tevez played the full 90 last night, and what with mancini's quote that he doesn't think players can play thurs/sun. Do you think he rests Carlos this weekend? I only ask as I'm about to bring him in for a points hit!!

    morning lads. Would you mind awfully taking a look at my team and seeing what you thing, am I missing something glaringly obvious? I've pretty much decided not to make a transfer this week as I can't see where I can really strengthen the squad. I'm saving my pennies to transfer Arshavin for Fabs when he is back.

    Morning lads,

    City last night game. Silva was brought in and A.J. wasn't substituted. Did that mean Milner had the central attacking role? Can we see that for Mancini this week. He need to score against New (its a home game after all) and I don't think they will break the Toons easily. So as A.J. owner I am asking is it possible for this week?

    To wild card or not to wild card. I'm in a really dilemma. I am reasonably happy with my team. The only transfers that I really want to do are Gerrard > Fabregas (w10) and Konchesky or Samba > kolarov or bosingwa (when back from injury). If I was to wild card it would just be to make the most of any price rises, and to cover myself in case of injuries in international week. If I was to wild card i would probably downgrade Hahnemann > Krul, Enrique > Gohouri and either upgrade Albrighton > N'zogbia or adam OR the other defender mentioned above. Is it worth doing my wild card or should I hold on until I really need it? I would hate to not go for it on saturday, and then get 3-4 injuries. Please help!!

    If so, should i do

    a) Arsh -> Gerrard
    b) Arsh -> Kuyt

    a) is the obvious choice but with Kuyt playing up behind Torres, perhaps he is the value?

        on totalfpl is says 'torres injury doubt after utrecht game' but in the article is doesnt mention that mes injured at all, just lacking form...if hes injured this week then my points hits will be in vain. ðŸ™

    Mancini has commented on Tevez having to play a lot of games. He's is guna be rotated in the future when strikers are fit.

      NEVER EVER lose Drogba! He can score against any opponent. Gerrard has done sweet FA this season and on paper yes he should hammer Blackpool, but will he?
