Up next, we’ve a quick round-up of the Paddy Power Fantasy Football Cup VII Round Four Results played out over last weekend. Mark’s conqueror in the previous round, The Shadow, saw his hopes finally evaporate with a 49 – 53 loss to Donaldo.

Our last remaining previous winner, donnellyc, also tasted defeat, going down 47-53 to davescold, though world number two Iyad Zahlan remains in the hat – he marched into the last 64 with a 56 – 45 win over Bigo1.

We’re currently sorting out the next round of fixtures behind the scenes and should have the draw for the last 64 with you by tomorrow morning.

    a dangerous opinion is cropping up imo now man city are out of europe, that their big players are nailed on now. between mid january and the end of the season i agree, but if aguero, tevez and silva start every game over xmas and new year i'll dress up as a turkey and sing jingle bells and put it on youtube, and that's a promise. being out of europe has no relevence over the overly-cluttered xmas schedule

      I was desperate enough for info that I checked some Reading message boards. Nothing about an injury, they all seem to think he was 'all over the place' before losing his place in the side. Although it's not like they have defended very well in his absence.

      Even they will be able to be Nordsjaelland.

      I reckon Shakhtar could still beat Juve. But given that they both only really need a draw doesn't bode well for Chelsea.

      Their only hope is that Juve could top the group if they win, so for them to go all out and end up imploding and losing.

    Are we all of the opinion that a hit to get a Reading defender in makes no sense then?

    It leaves me to choose from Cuellar, Gorkss, Hughes, Clyne and Rafael. I can make cases for starting them all.

      Cuellar, Shorey, Shawcross for me. Migs in goal. There is a case for Clyne over Shawy, but Saints are too leaky and Shawy is a points machine.
