If yesterday served up an almighty feast of Premier League football and fantasy points, then today we’ll have to be content with the left-over scraps. Just one game on offer this Sunday, as Blackburn Rovers host West Bromwich Albion.

With neither team a ‘double gameweeker’, it’s hard to imagine many fantasy managers have much interest in this game. But maybe you are one of the three people that voted for Peter Odemwingie in this weeks Captain’s Poll and have a lot riding on this game. The Dugout Discussion is therefore open for business as per usual, but don’t expect much company.

Nevertheless, the team news from Ewood Park is in, and here are the line-ups…

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Givet, Olsson, Dunn, Jermaine Jones, Pedersen, Hoilett, Kalinic, Santa Cruz

West Brom XI: Myhill, Jara, Tamas, Olsson, Cech, Brunt, Mulumbu, Thomas, Scharner, Morrison, Odemwingie

Roque Santa Cruz is handed his first league in his second spell for Rovers. Also getting a start for the home side is the new German-American footballer Jermaine Jones. No Dorrans for West Brom.

                  13 goals in 29 games (many of which weren't starts) in 2010, including goals against Tottenham, Man City, Porto and Barcelona.

                  That's miles better than anything West Ham's forward line have done.

        German sources are reporting that Hoffenheim striker Demba Ba passed a medical at West Ham on Saturday and will be signing on loan until the end of the season if terms can be arranged. The knee problems that caused Stoke to rule out a permanent move last week don't appear to concern the Hammers.

        And as Hoffenheim are desperately to unload the forward due to his "personality problems", and Ba is desperate to leave, a deal could go through this time.

        Kolarov is a frustrating one. Each game who looks on the verge of a huge point haul but ultimately frustrates. His corners were superb yesterday. Zero returns though. He'll probably get a hatrick in Europe.

    i had a gd week this week 88 with 8 and (c) to play again ,point is i just thought everybody else has done great as well so it was no biggie but with the average only being 40 i cant believe that it seems i am having a bumper week compared to a lot of folk,does anyone else have that feeling whose scoring high?

        Are they? Before last season, I seem to remember them travelling to OT and happily rolling over. I don't think they've beaten United at Villa Park in a while either.

                I still don't rate Macheda. I'm yet to see anything to prove he'll be a regular at your club.

                I've never said anything bad about Cleverley or Rafael. I think both are good players. I also thought Evans was good before this season.

                    This loan deal should do Macheda the world of good. He is an excellent finisher, his overall play needs improvement imo.

                    Smalling was a huge liability for Fulham last season.

                    I haven't seen any mistakes from him at united yet, but he doesn't get as much chance to be a problem.

        He was back training on the 5th of Jan, but he won't be playing again till the end of Feb according to SAF. You get a massive amount of muscle wastage with trauma injuries like that (apparently).

          So true, I was in a cast 8 weeks last year with a similar injury to Valencia's and when it came off I had the most ridiculous chicken leg.

          Wasn't the same for about 12 months, however his medical team will reduce that time massively as you say.

            The worst part is how black the hairs go... I had my arm in a cast for about 10 weeks three years ago, and when I took it off it was seriously grim. Had to shave all the hair off....

          Take the last few games for example; Nasri has been awesome, just a lot of the chances he's created for team mates have been squandered or very well saved.

          His link-up play with Fabregas is exceptional. A lot of Arsenal's goal are team goals, you can't just credit the guy who put the ball in the net and the one who played the final pass, Fabregas and Nasri dictate almost every attacking move.

    Is the general consensus to use your WC in GW27 to max out on DGW and TGW players?

    I'm thinking of doing it a week early, so that I get an extra free transfer to help rebalance my team in GW28.

    Both Arsenal and Birmingham (the teams I want 3 players each from) have decent fixtures in GW26, so hopefully I wouldn't pay too much of a price for loading up a week early.
