Following the conclusion of Gameweek 21, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or a new top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 21. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24-hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

If you missed our meeting, emails and telegrams on the Hall of Fame and wondering what all this chatter is about, look below for a quick guide. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to myself and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson talk you through it.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier Leauge mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2011/12 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2006/07. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (40184-13425), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. If you wish to get access to the live version, you can sign up as a member – our half season memberships are now available for just £10. Click here for details on upgrading your account or signing up.

How does my possible WC team look? Probably play next GW

    Begovic, Bunn
    Walker, Zabaleta, Obrien, Nelsen, Harte
Mata, Bale, Walcott, Michu, Fellaini - however considering Ben Arfa
    RvP, Dzeko, Ruiz

if you want a risky bet go for a madrid loss. they're missing 3/4 of their regular defense this weekend if i remember correctly 😀

Triggerlips has persuaded me (see top of last page), I'll play my WC this week and select this team:

    Szczesny, Turnbull

    Azpilicueta, Cameron, Davies, Harte, Demel

    Walcott, Mata, Bale, Cazorla, Michu

    Benteke, Lambert, RVP

    then
    GW 23: Turnbull -> Guzan
    GW 24: nothing
    GW 25: Azpilicueta & Cazorla -> Gibbs & Taarabt
GW 26: Benteke or Lambert -> Suarez or Cisse (or a new signing)

Arsenal have pretty good fixtures on the horizon, I gcould just stick with Szczesny and Turnbull until GW 28 then pick someone cheap who rotates well with Szczesny.

    Begovic

    Walcott Mata Fellaini Michu
    Suarez Tevez RVP

    Foster Puncheon Cameron Nelsen
    1FT, 3.1 in bank.

Sorry for re-post, post lost at bottom of last page.

WC team good to go next GW?

    Begovic, Bunn
    Walker, Zabaleta, Obrien, Nelsen, Harte
Bale, Mata, Walcott, Michu, Fellaini / Ben Arfa
    RvP, Dzeko, Ruiz

Not so sure about the punt on Ben Arfa, however desperately want to break the midfield template. Any suggestions?

If you're not sure, don't do it, unless you really need a differential. Speaking of which, Dzeko? Yuk. Only any use if he's starting, gets 1-pointers otherwise; the supersub thing is a myth. You could get Berbatov for that price 🙂

I wouldn't worry too much about templates, something's bound to happen to break them.

Would like some thoughts on this please.
    (Dependent on tonight’s game)

    WC to -
    Bego/Jaask*
    Azpil* Luiz* Shaw* Davies Turner
    Mata* Walcott* Bale Michu Puncheon*
    RVP Suarez Lambert*

Then GW23, Luiz to Gibbs and upgrade Lambert to Podolski
    GW24, Podolski to Berba/Other

    In summary, for each DGW,
    Chelsea – Mata, Luiz, Azpilicueta
    Southampton – Shaw, Puncheon, Lambert
    Arsenal – Walcott, Gibbs, Podolski
    West Ham – Jaaskelainen

I'm trying to set the team up nicely so it's not filled with DGWers in a month's time.

Personally I can't see West Ham keeping a cleansheet so there's not a lot of poinf, in 2 weeks I'd regret having a double up

With this plan I have Michu/Bale/RVP/Begovic/Suarez throughout, players last week people wouldn't consider removing

Repost for more thoughts if possible...

Thinking of doing these moves at the minute…

    2FT

    Aguero > Lambert
    Caulker > Chelsea defender

So I’ll have Mata Ba Chelsea DEF, Lambert and Puncheon

Could also get a Southampton defender but not sure it’s worth it with two away games. Fonte would be first choice if I did. But is that worth a 4 point hit?

Then after this DGW (if it goes ahead of course) I would take a 4/8 point hit to get in the likes of Gibbs/Podolski/Walcott/Demel/Nolan/Noble

And then use my w/c to fix the mess I’ve made.

    Thoughts?

Hmm. I'd use just the one transfer this week and use 2 next week to avoid the hit.
Not sure will Aguero - Lambert pay dividends and an 8 point hit sounds horrible.

Walcott Cazorla are the only players I'd bust a gut to get for the next DGW

Aguero - Lambert is really a punt for the DGW and nothing more. All these moves would be done with the w/c in mind to fix it all up in 2 weeks.

An 8 point hit does sound horrible but if you're ever going to do them then you might as well do them for a DGW, right?

I would do only Caulker to Chelsea def this gw, then three transfers for a 4 pt hit the next, then clean up for the dgw. 8 or 9 dgws total, right?

The Ba plot thickens, eh? Looks so weird in that blue kit on FPL.

Cheers TM, Yeah he does look odd alright. I like your thinking here but I just realised...I can't do Caulker > Chelsea defender without freeing up cash elsewhere. That's the vital part. I'd need to downgrade Aguero if I want to do that double you see.

Would that change your thinking on the situation??

Just looked at your team so I see the predicament. If you have 3 FTs over the next two weeks and will then WC, doing a double this week could work but just be sure you are not regretting no Aguero vs Fulham in gw23 since you would do two for -4 to get in arsenal or West Ham players.

Have not wildcarded, but thinking of doing so and came up with this. I'm not concerned about the DGW's as I'd rather get the long term team in now with 0.0 in the bank. I'd still have Mata (C) for his DGW if it happens and Walcott (C) for his DGW. I know that benching a front 8 player will be tricky but I'd prefer it that way in the event of an injury/ suspension. Any feedback?

Shorey? Go for a 3.8 RDG like Mariappa instead.

Defense a real weak link in general here I'd say. With double GWs coming, you can do better. Sagna''s only 5.1, and Luke Shaw at 4.0 is solid too.

      Wouldn't take Davies or Bassong.

Not much to say up top. If you want Dave, get him, but at that price, I'd like more. Personally wouldn't be without Suarez, but if you think Sturridge will do..

Hate the bench problem though. Always hated it. You can get Puncheon, Lambert, Noble instead to get a double GW player who you can bench with more confidence. Saves a lot of heartache.

    going off wilcarding now

    1) who cares about southampton players anyway

two away games , one againt chelsea , defenders will be lucky to get 2 points over both games
Puncheon , again , unlikely to get anything against chelsea , although he is a good alternative for 5th mid
Lambert , no thanks ... Think berbatov will outscore him in his one game

    2) Chelsea , i will get mata for free and capt him. Would like Luiz too but cant really do it without wildcard.
He not really worth wildcarding over.
Im cheered by the thought that one of their games is away to Stoke , they should keep the chelsea scores down a little

If i wildcard i lose Fellani who could do well this week , so all up thinking not worth it now

Fair call Trigger. People may find themselves sacrificing a lot of good players in order to get Chelsea/southampton players. Not all sacrifices are worth it, especially for a Chelsea rotation threatened player (they all are)

I don't believe Arsenal would sell Chezny either. Young keeper with promise (even if he looks dodgy sometimes)

No way Reina would leave Pool...must like being no.1 there. He'd have more competition at Arsenal.

For sure but the fact that he isn't at his best yet makes him a number 2 rather than a number 1. He's a second rate keeper at the moment and if Arsenal want to be serious about being a top top club again they need a top top keeper.

Is it enough cover with Ba, Mata and Puncheon this GW if its gonna be a DGW for Chelsea? Just can't transfer out Suarez, Van Persie, Fellaini, Michu, Ba and Puncheon (for the DGW), and I think i keep him as a seasonkeeper for the 5th midfielder spot).. That means I only can change 2 of the front 8 players (Walcott and Sterling) with 4,4M in the bank, and when should i use my wildcard? Does not fancy hits to get in defenders like Luiz, Ivanovic for the DGW..

Would have a OK team this gameweek..

    Begovic (CHELSEA)

Cuellar (WHU) - Nelsen (SPURS) - Baines (SWANSEA)

Mata (sto, soton) - Michu (everton) - Puncheon (CHELSEA, aston villa) - Fellaini (SWANSEA)

Van persie (LIVERPOOL) - Suarez (united) - BA (stoke, soton)

Only transfer this gameweek would be Walcott to Mata, and probably gonna use my wildcard next gameweek.. Or just use my wildcard this gameweek?

If I used my wc this gameweek I guess my front 8 would be almost the same as this team.. Maybe Sterling out for Bale or something..

This Chelsea DGW fuckes with my head! I don't like to fill my team with DGW players.. Just because i know many of those players that just have 1 game easy can outscore any DGW player.. Players that i want for the DGW's would probably be Turnbull, Mata, Ba, Puncheon.. And Gibbs, Walcott, Cazorla, Nolan and O'Brian.. And i know it would be impossible to afford that because I just have to have players like Bale, Michu and Fellaini! Blergh.. What to do guys?

      1) Take your pick. Giroud if on form, Poldi safer bet.
      2) Yes, if you intend to keep Mata.
      3) Luiz
      4) It's certainly a punt, put it that way 😉

        2) i intend to keep him but would probably get him in my wc gw 24 anyways. still worth the hit?
        3) worth a hit to swap nasty to him?

          2) Probably, it's a dgw hit and ppg = 6.2 for both players, > 4. The only concerns are refatation and one of the games is away to Stoke.
          3) If you're doing the above that's a lot of hits. otoh he's now a rotation risk and (ars) is unappealing. Your call.

      1) I think Giroud has the higher upside, but you could end up with 2 cameo performances in the DGW.
      2) That's a toughie. Not sure.
      3) Luiz
      4) Most definitely.

        1) good point. hmm....
        3) worth a hit to get him for nasty?
        4) it's just he has villa, and i have a feeling 😉

btw I replied at the top of the page about that accumulator

            3) okay thanks
            4) :D. surely with one game against villa and a dgw he can't be that bad of a captain. it's him or bale for me this week

don't own any chelsea players atm... so it'd have to be afro to mata for a hit as i'm not shipping bale or walcott! or one of suarez/lambert to ba for a hit. not gunna captain a defender
