Just as Steven Gerrard dominated in the midfielders bracket over the Christmas period, Luis Suarez reigned supreme amongst the strikers. With five goals and two assists making him the most profitable forward on show, surpassing even Robin Van Persie’s FPL returns in the same window.

I'm still just short of it but with some careful WC trading I could probably get there. Fellaini possible transfer is bugging me though.

He would so play deeper, probably in the Lampard role but with plenty of goalscorers ahead of him and not on penalties.

Ah good point, I'd still consider it a downgrade as I don't see pienaar being as utterly dominant in the team as Fellaini is. Reason being that I think he will stay in his natural position on the left. His position has been a bit unclear when Fellaini hasn't played this year, but he hasn't taken up Fellaini 's position, that's been anichebe really.
Still a very good pick and one I will consider. Will Everton be the same without Fellaini?

I wasn't sure about it back on Monday and the Fellaini news makes me even less sure. I am hoping Sturridge starts with Suarez before the wildcard window ends.

I can assure you it came of nothing more than playing around with the FPL app and treating Sturridge as a Suarez replacement! And trying to get city and united defensive cover, that's the other main selling point. The 5 man midfield is already template

Why is Luiz a better pick than Ivanovic for example ? Because hes playing midfield ? Isnt Ivanovic more of a goal threat?
Cheaper, OOP and didn't make two massive howlers in his last game which may lead to him being dropped.
Luiz is the best defender...cheaper as well. His defensive midfield role while Mikel is away also gives him security.
Because his hair means it's easy to spot him when watching the games.

I think one or other could get a clean sheet or either could get attacking returns. It's not ideal but keen to keep Zabs and don't want to use any transfers in GW23 so I have two for 24.
Think both individually are better options than Demel this week.
I would play Puncheon if I were you! Instead of Fellaini maybe.

The only benefit of selling RVP would be to get Baines or upgrade Berbatov. Until i can find a better use of the funds, he stays. But he is only near 'essential' when Rooney isn't playing imo, so his place in my team will always be under scrutiny.
Very strong. Gerrard and Suarez could really boost you up V Norwich. Like it a lot.

I'd be nervous about benching Walcott.
