Where did it all go wrong?

Mark claims I should be fined by the FPL for fielding an understrength side for the last few weeks. Cheeky! I just put it down to ‘dark forces at work’, not my fault at all.

So a disastrous double game week for me, then, whilst wildcard-wielding Mark ‘smashed it’, and our rivalry has turned on its head yet again.

Up for discussion today is not the offside rule, but the case for Dimitar Berbatov.

I’m off to the Fantasy Island for a bit of soul searching and I’m bringing no one with me. Enjoy your Dzeko time Mark. Interesting that he stated that he always wanted to come to this island despite having never heard of it.

        Not yet. Playing my wildcard in 2 weeks, then I'll decide. His score would have been decent if the alternative Berbatov hadn't scored 5 goals! I mean no one could have predicted 5 goals.

      I think Young might stay with us now Randy has backed Houllier with some proper cash.

      I also like the clear out of Martin Oneill's lost children very much Davies, Sidwell, Carew, Shorey etc. average to the extreme and also on stupid wages.

      I think Young if he was gona leave will do it in the summer after finding out what else Randy has up his sleve and where Villa have the potential to go.

      Unlesssss, Torres goes to Chelsea and Liverpool put in a mega bid for Young with some of the cash then that could blow the door open.

    Just having a play with my WC team - going to wait and see what happens over the next 3 days before choosing when to play it. Not worried about rises at the moement but just about getting it right.

          Because of the sell on cost, you must be able to sell him for 8.2 atm, but waiting until his price drop, will mean you can only sell him for 8.1. Therefore, you should sell him now.

      They're the most reliable site, but it's hard protection times seem to vary from case to case.

      Creds to Hercules though, they've stood up much better than most other teams I've seen play Barca this year. Aggregate scores over their two games is now 2-2, not many teams will better that!

      To be honest I couldn't say I've been watching Morrison too hard, but even with good fixtures I can't see him repaying you too much. Surely it's worth finding the extra 1.1 to get Brunt, or get Vela if you're strapped.

          Based on current performance and game time, I would say if you've got RVP you might as well partner him with Walcott rather than Nasri. That should give you money to trade Thomas for Brunt.

      Based on the fixture you'd say Blackpool, but I can't comment on Varney, I got him instead of Dudley for GW22 and he let me down every time until I finally dropped him. And Malouda can always surprise nicely, even given a tough fixture.

        TM Answer to you question above is that I think the Chelsea v Everton replay will take place on the 19th Feb the same weekend as the 5th round matches.. Should mean the Chelsea v Utd game goes ahead barring no other complications but don't take this as gospel

    So I read, on an admittedly poor site, that Liverpool are trying to get Anelka and 40M for Torres from Chelsea.
