Liverpool are afforded the chance to bounce back from last Monday’s disastrous home defeat at the hands of West Brom, as Swansea arrive on Merseyside. The team news is in and sees Daniel Sturridge handed the chance to lead the line for the hosts, having recovered from a thigh injury. Brendan Rodgers gives Philippe Coutinho his first start, with Liverpool lining up in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

The big news comes courtesy of Michael Laudrup’s team selection. Michu merely warms the bench for the Welsh outfit, with the Swans boss clearly keeping one eye on next weekend’s Capital One Cup final against Bradford. Ashley Williams is also omitted from the first XI and with Chico out injured, Kyle Bartley and Garry Monk line up in the heart of defence – perhaps offering hope to those Fantasy managers who invested in Sturridge and/or Luis Suarez.
