Does anyone ever feel that if you own most of the decent captaincy choices in a week that you feel a little less under pressure to get it right?
I'm going Bale because that form is irresistible but if one also has Mata, Suarez, Lambo, Walcott, Fellaini etc you should probably get a green arrow anyhow. Also, what the consensus about gw29, think I'm gonna relax and sit tight with 8 players. It doesn't seem like a good decision to go hit mad to get 11 and look to get all those guys back in again.
I agree with you. I have all of the above mentioned players and i'm going for Mata(c). I still think i'll go with about 10 in Gw 29
Completely agreed, on both, this is just sensible stuff. Get out as many as possible for GW29 but don't bother too much with cheap defenders, quality over quantity.

Oh well he's been fairly rubbish and I believe that Vetonghen played to give added height against your mob. There have been rumours that Benny and AVB don't see eye to eye but they are likely just that IMO - rumours.
Those of you still considering purging RVP from your team for a two week spell, need to consider one very important factor...
RVP is currently yellow flagged. It is likely this will be lifted shortly before Tuesdays Madrid clash. Its also a possibility it will be lifted as early as Saturday , if he appears on Saturdays team sheet in any way shape or form.
So, what does this mean?
as you know players are price protected for one week following the lifting of a flag, no matter how many hordes of managers sell him off after that date .Therefore if your looking to sell him at a loss expecting him to drop in price so you can get him back in GW30 , it isn't going to happen on any great scale.
He goes down in price tonight by 0.1, if your lucky you might see 0.2 come Monday. If your unlucky and the flag gets lifted Saturday, the 0.1 drop is the best your going to get out if him.
This flag is definitely a silver lining on the RVP frontier
To be honest, I'm not really interested in value at this stage of the season.
I will keep him and hope he repays the faith during the run-in.
I'm selling him because he's my only attacker who I think won't play this week or next. It's about points, not value for me. Any price fall between my sale tomorrow and requisition is a bonus.
this really applies to those gambling their funds on the market in order to afford getting him back, without taking hits, or screwing up your team to make it happen.

I took out RVP for Suarez. As the others said, not for value, just for game time!
If he was certain to be price protected this would be something to worry about, but it turns out price protection is applied erratically. It's not given to everyone who gets flagged, particularly minor yellow ones. For example, who was the last player you recall receiving protection?
I can only remember Fellaini after his red flag for his headbutt suspension.

I'm 75 points behind my leader, should I be captaining someone he hasn't got every week to give myself chance of catching? I was going to captain Bale would have to change this to Michu using this method. Also he has Aguero RVP and Sturridge and I have Lambert RVP and Sturridge, he has just done a non RVP transfer therefore I gotta take out RVP for Suarez haven't I?

Let's be honest - It's a teenage-ish legal drama. It's all cool, and hip, and fast-paced. But the outcomes are predictable, if you really go in-depth in a case - the plot line is way too lose. Especially season 2.
I definitely prefer The Good Wife over Suits if we are talking legal dramas.
People are saying that RVP's flag will go green if he appears on the teamsheet this week end, meaning that his price will be protected. But surely as he has currently no game on GW29, he will be red flagged and therefore will be able to drop, no ?
To those selling/sold RVP. If RVP missed 1 GW, and you sell him and buy him right back, that would effectively cost you 8 points to have a sub for GW 29. That sub would need to score 8 for you to break even, not to mention the loss of any value, which I know many say they don't care for much this time of the season. If he does not start or play, then your sub would need to score at least 8 points over the GW 28/9. (Looking at the popular RVP sub Suarez, if RVP is out for two GWs, he could get you more than 8 points, but I would not be surprised if he gets 8 or less.

Its amazing that Lukaku has managed to remain under the radar even with that goal tally, probably because WBA's attack isn't fancy at all. But fair enough with Benteke too, I'm currently thinking of getting Lukaku and Cisse for Aguero and Pogs. I have a certain love for Lukaku. 🙂

3 sounds about right. 4 for now since you have RVP. I'd get Suarez in, he's explosive we know, but then if you don't fancy doubling on Liverpool's strike pair, you might want to consider Benteke too. Lambert's template now. 😛
