The ScoutCast emerges from under the duvet, Lemsip soaked and coughing and spluttering its way towards a century of episodes. After a two-week break, the full crew are assembled as Granville joins me to celebrate his Gameweek victory, Professor Chris Atkinson returns from the slopes to charge up his “Rate My Team” computer and Jonty chips in with another community-powered “Full Jonty”.

Around this we discuss the unlikely scenario of selling on Robin, give our Scout League leaders a shout-out, analyse the transfer ins and outs in “All Aboard” and look ahead to the weekend’s programme.

The “Full Jonty” rounds things off as “Ginkapo” gets the treatment, prompting a love-in with a certain Serbian left-back.

Take the temperature of this latest episode via this link, or follow Doctors orders and stream your medicine via the player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Morning chaps.

Need to get rid of Bertrand this week.

Any shouts on best defender for 4.8 or under?

Dawson. Possibly not the best pick for this week though. Do they need to play the blank GW?

Dawson or if you fancy a punt for a few weeks, try S Taylor.

Wilson/Harte seem a good bet if you want to keep cash in the bank.

So if a lot of people sell RVP, I guess people like me who didn't make extra effort to build team value are getting off lightly. I bet there'll be some serious cash in people's banks.

Assuming all four games are off (as is looking increasingly likely). Pick your best XI for GW 29.
Fixtures remaining are Norwich vs. Southampton, Reading vs. Villa, Newcastle vs. Stoke, QPR vs Sunderland, WBA vs. Swansea and Liverpool vs. Spurs.

    Elliot
    GJ Debuchy McAuley
    Bale Michu Gerrard Snodgrass
    Benteke Lukaku Suarez

    Something like that?

ok yes your team looks pretty good but i'd have lambert in there over either benteke or lukaku. (I know theyre good choices but i prefer lambert)

Views on my team for this gameweek please:

    de Gea
    Evans J Cameron Baines
    Michu Bale Mata Walcott
    Rooney Sturridge Lambert

    Begovic, Davies, Sissoko, Harte

Countless captain options, led by Bale, and Rooney, and Michu, and Mata, and Baines, and Lambert!!

Hoping for a BIG points haul

Will then swap Evans and Walcott for Gerrard and Enrique to get 11 players out for a hit GW 29

Good to hear Laudrup is addressing this by setting targets

"There might be a negative reaction after winning the cup - I hope not - but it's a possibility,"

"I hope the players go out and play the best game of the season, because this is the first game after the cup final, we are playing at home in front of our fans with the cup on display, so I hope - but I don't know."

"The fact we are now in the Europa League next season has nothing to do with our Premier League form, because we didn't start the season thinking about Europe."

Also says he's hoping for a top 10 finish, and there's a comment by Ashley Williams saying:

“We know there are plenty of points left to play for. As long as that is the case, we will keep on fighting and then we’ll see how high we can go."

I find it crazy that people are saying Swansea are just going to stroll through the rest of the season now, and may not be as good investments as they were prior to the League cup final.

There is certainly a chance that it will negatively affect their performances but there's also a chance they will build on it and improve. I guess there's no reason to change plans regarding Swansea assets.

Davies' place looks like it could come under threat soon though with Naylor coming back.

Starting to feel a bit better about gameweek 29. I'm 94 points clear at the top of my minileague and, after having a quick look at his team against the fixtures, noticed that as things stand he has EIGHT players not playing compared to my four. I'm seriously tempted to just leave things as they are. Or maybe do one transfer this week and one next.

    Big question:

I have only 4 non-starters for GW29. Was going to save FT this week and do Mata > Sissoko and Aguero > Benteke.

But now RVP's gametime concerns me. Main rival has Lambert, who could score big this week and next. Should I dump Persie now and bring in Lambert?

Anybody thinking of going Suarez as captain this week?

Just read that Liverpool have not won at the DW Stadium since 2007 so it looks like a bogey game for Liverpool. Not only that Wigan are looking like doing there usual time of year Houdine act and going on a winning run.

Could be risky going for Suarez as captain.

Bale looks the safe bet but I just have a nagging doubt that his scoring run will grind to a halt this weekend. Hmmmm, another interesting weekend beckons

    Today at OT: Team news

The editorial team for ManUtd.com , United Review and Inside United provide regular updates from the home of the Reds...

    😯 Friday 29 February 😯

08:30 Sir Alex is due to address the press this morning at 09:30 GMT. Gemma Thompson is down at Carrington to report back with all the latest news, including (we presume) an update on Robin van Persie. The Dutch striker limped off during the win at Queens Park Rangers last weekend with what the manager revealed was "a bruised hip". Hopefully Sir Alex will have some news on how his recovery is progressing and also that of Phil Jones. Updates from 10:00 GMT. (NC)

Even if SAF says RVP is fit for the Norwich game he may still not start. Not so sure his words will assist us. Time to spread RVP cash around my team I think.

I think we will know one way or the other by the end of the day if he's going to start
