We now have our Quarter-Finalists for this season’s Members Cup, as the weekend programme narrowed the field further. Those eight who made progress not only keep their name in the hat for this cup, they also guarantee qualification for the inaugural Fantasy Football Scout Shield where they will face off against the last eight from this season’s earlier Paddy Power Cup over the final four Gameweeks of the season.

Eunuch Jelly is the name that everyone will want to avoid in the last eight – he is now the highest ranked manager remaining in the tournament, having destroyed Stewport, himself ranked 771st before the weekend. Acquafresca will also fancy his chances – he’s the other manager ranked in the top 1000 to progress. Fuzzy Dunlop is perhaps the manager to look out for, as a former winner of this cup, he’s been there and done it and probably still has his cup final suit.

The draw for the Quarter-Finals, to be played out over Gameweek 32, will be published tomorrow afternoon.

    Lads, a few things I need confirmation on:

    a) If I save my transfer this GW & WC in 33, will the 2FT carry over to 34?
    b) if I activate my WC on Saturday, will i benefit from any price rises during the week even tough I could get rid for a profit before the deadline?
    c) Haven't been on here this week - whats the general consensus on using an available WC for GW33 - are people in agreement with that or are a lot of people holding out?

      You may as well have a go, I doubt you'll make more than £0.3m.
      Depends, if you can get in the GW33 'essentials' for a small fee(-4 or -8) then I'd try and save for 36.

        I'm pretty torn - I can get 7 DGWers with 1 hit including Wally, Caz, Baines, Fellaini, RVP, Fabianski, and Berb - and if I use my WC now, I will have a tough time preparing for 36. But still seems like this is the DGW to make up ground which is what I need to do, and hate taking a hit at this stage of season.

      There's not a whole lot more advanced Bale can play. He barely has any defensive duties anymore and he's not going to be used as an orthodox #9 because that limits his ability at picking up the ball and running at it or knocking them in from 25 yards.
