Irrespective of price just want to see if people think Countinho is going to become a better pointscorer. Have cash for either of them with no obvious place to spend it elsewhere. I have a shocking TV too I can only imagine how much cash the rich teams have going to spare with Bale, Theo & Fellaini all putting their feet up this weekend!!

Gerrard is on fire with points and will play 90mins - Coutinho will only play 60-70mins.

Gerrard set peices and capable of a 40 yarder 🙂

He'll be given a new contract as well near the start of the summer I imagine. We don't play quite the same highline as AVB tried at Chelsea and Dawson's not as slow as Terry. And Lloris helps too.

I'm looking to bring in Silva, would expect Sturridge to start, but can't be sure.

I used my freebie on Sturridge > Berbatov before price rises, as it left enough for Siss> Fellaini next week exactly.

Now Theo and Bale are out, I don't need the value so much anymore and would probably have kept Sturridge for this weekend at least. 🙁

      Saints look pretty good.

Given those stats, if I had Lambert I'd be captaining him. The number of chances Villa concede to set-pieces would be a worry for me given they play Stoke away this week.

I'm getting in Hazard for a week with my FT, hoping he scores double figures and then sorting out my DGW plans when I know who is fit/suspended/wearing the correct bib.

I look at some teams this week and they are full of DGW players, but are completely broken this week 😆

This is why I didn't wc this week, the fixtures just don't suit. Plus I was finally convinced of the argument that I can deal injuries better. Theo has backed that theory. For just this week I fancy Hazard as I have feeling Mata will be benched

I agree, Hazard is the better pick, on paper. Looked so sharp in recent weeks too.

He's got the same characteristics as Gerrard, a mean long shot, on pens, on free kicks, on corners but 6.6m and good fixtures.

Only fly in the ointment is he seems to be slightly injury prone. Sissoko has disappointed since I (belatedly) got him in.

Although as a Sunderland fan I don't see how you can bring him in really 😉

look above though, Gerrard has very very similar characteristics, plays deep but still performs well, but he's 3m cheaper, he's also superior at home, and he has 2 home games in a row. Fulham's defence is terrible too.

I just can't see a haul from him, that's all. I'd give the transfer a solid 7/10, nothing spectacular.

He looks likely to start against Sunderland then you would expect both Mata and Hazard to start against City and after that they have Fulham away. Can't see him starting all 3 so that means he might be rested for Fulham next week. Makes sense? I think because of this reason I might go for David Silva.

Hazard would be a -4 for me as already used my free trasnfer, so I'm holding Bale until we get news.

The good thing is, that I can actually afford the 0.1 fall without losing sale value and looks like most sellers are doing yesterday/today so it should mean his value won't ludicrous on the falls.

@trigg like what you said above about isolated transfer, kinda my thoughts, it may or may not take -4 to fix it which isnt terrible to potentially get decent points, it is also influenced by my potential 1st sub being more likely to get just 2 points, so anything over 6 for my transfer is a bonus.

I quite like the idea. I really, really want Hazard in, and the Bale injury is a chance to get him.

Also, who else would you get in your midfield who has a DGW? I have considered getting Fellaini in a week early, but that's crazy. Getting points is the aim of the game.

You don't care if the officials make mistakes that benefit your team but if they are making ones that go against you the team are naturally gonna have something to say about it and rightly so.
