Having assessed the team attacking statistics in the first of a two-part series yesterday, we roll out the next instalment. This time round, we focus on the defensive data available in our members section and analyse the most and least impressive backlines over the last four Gameweeks:

when i compare Gerrard and Hazard, the first thing that pops up it's Chelsea busy schedulle:
    7 Apr Sunderland EPL GW32
11 Apr Rubin (away) Europa League
14 Apr Man City FA Semi
    17 Apr Fulham EPL GW33

so basically Hazard after being rested yesterday vs Rubin surely looks like a good replacement for Bale, but when compared to Gerrard who is an assured starter on pens, has WHU and Reading for the next 2 and is not involved in any other competition, i believe Gerrard edges it if you do not have a wildcard to set up your team for GW33 like me; i already own Suarez and J.Enrique but getting Stevie G this week can also be a good escape route for Liverpool cover if Suarez gets his 10th yellow this week. And i didn't even mentioned Gerrard home record this season 😉

well kind of but i can't see myself bringing in Hazard and keeping him untill GW 36 with Rafatation and their busy schedulle, and after this DGW Walcott Cazorla and Fellaini can become Chelsea mids.

Hi everyone, been away all week so a little confused about what to do at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated!

    DDG (Tremmel)

Jose Enrique / Zabaleta / Wilson (Pearce / Evans)

Mata / Cazorla / Sissoko / Snodgrass (Bale)

    Suarez / Sturridge / Lambert

Was thinking Sturridge -> Giroud, but this Bale situation has left me in a pickle. Could do Bale -> Hazard and double up on Chelsea?

    DDG
    Evra, Zabaleta, Azpilicueta
    Michu, Cazorla, Sissoko, BALE, FELLAINI
    Suarez, van persie, Berbatov

Was set on Michu and Zabaleta for Walcott and Sagna next week but now thinking Bale for Gerrard/Mata/Hazard?

    Cheers!

Anyone else see a potential change?

    Enrique – Mariappa – Davies – Shaw
    Cazorla – Puncheon – Sissoko
    Rvp – Suarez (c) – Berba

    Bench: Turnbull, Walcott, Jevans, Bale

As you can see, team is a mess.

Bale out is no1 priority. £2.5m bank but need £1m for Siss to Fellaini next week.

Lampard played last night so might be due a rest. Hazard played against Man U though not last night although I was at the game and he was off sorts.

Mata played last night (78 mins) and on monday so I would say he has the best chance of being rested as Sunderland would be seen as an 'easy' team to beat.

      Reckon the mid will be:
Lampard, hazard, Oscar, Ramires, Mikel (mata and moses on the bench)

    Which move would be better:

    1. Bale to Santi
    2. Bale to Gerrard

My plan is to swap Mata over next week so am leaning towards Gerrard for this week and then SC for next week for the DGW.

    Cheers all

So, does this plan look decent:

    GW32: Bale ---> Santi

    GW33: Sturridge ---> Giroud

Would give me Sagna, Santi, Giroud, Fellaini and Rooney for the DGW. Can't see much more I fancy beyond that lot anyway at the expense of other people in my squad.

Still got my WC and planning it for 35/36 so bringing Bale back in should be no problem.

am thinking of Giroud in for Benteke or Suarez if he gets a yellow card. Looks as if he is finding form but I brought him in after a good run he misfired for the next few weeks (same for Lambert, Berba, RVP etc)

If Theo has an outside chance of participating in West Brom game, then surely he'll be right for DGW?

In theory although it doesn't take much for someone to suffer a setback. Especially someone as 'delicate' as ickle Theo

Outside chance for the Norwich game, as said, but it also says he's already started running. I think he'll be fit, but of course it's impossible to tell this early in the game.

I think it also said Coutinho would be benched (which was wrong). I could be wrong there though

Sturridge and Coutinho was wearing a different color, so the theory is that they were "fighting" for the position. Reading this, I realize that wow, this is quickly getting completely out of hand....
