Peaks and troughs – every Fantasy season has them and, this week, we revel in the Professor’s major trough in a futile attempt to break the man. After Robin Van Persie issues the boffin a spanking, the Professor shows his mettle by taking it on the chin. Admirable stuff.

While we’d have gladly devoted this entire episode to such gloating, we do manage to squeeze in the regulars, whilst Jonty turns up with more community gold: the tale of a globe trotting Fantasy manager who takes his advice off Frankfurt clubbers and QPR fans, whilst trying to figure out the Russian phrase for “please, wireless, I’m desperate – I have Djibril Cisse up front!”.

By the way, the Professor isn’t the only one who can take criticism on the chin. Granville and I want some feedback on the ScoutCast and my co-host has worked on a short survey to get your views. Take five minutes to help us out while you listen in via this link.

Interesting point about having Van Persie and Bale next season.

I think you could potentially go without RVP. I can't see strikers like Aguero struggling again and he'll be a fair bit cheaper. Plus I'm expecting Kagawa to explode next season.

I guess fellaini blank this weekend would help the cause but I will probably still go ahead as just afraid as all rivals have a chelsea mid and I don't want to miss out.
