As expected, Chelsea have confirmed the re-appointment of Jose Mourinho on a four-year contract. The Portuguese manager will return to Stamford Bridge after finishing his stint at Real Madrid only yesterday and fills the vacancy left by Rafa Benitez’s departure to Italian outfit Napoli.

The club’s Chief Executive, Ron Gourlay, announced earlier this afternoon:

“I am delighted to welcome Jose back to Chelsea. His continued success, drive and ambition made him the outstanding candidate.It is our aim to keep the club moving forward to achieve greater success in the future and Jose is our number one choice as we believe he is the right manager to do just that. He was and remains a hugely popular figure at the club and everyone here looks forward to working with him again.”

Mourinho will be presented to the press officially on Monday June 10 and his return to these shores will certainly add a little more spice to the Premier League as the Blues plot to overhaul both Manchester clubs at the top of the table. We’ll have more on Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge in a forthcoming “Moving Target” report later in the week.

        Hernandez has said he was struggling with some injury all season so he could see an upturn but he looks like more of a neat passer than a points machine.

Eboue Skills

20 owners, 20 PL teams.

Manager and scouts working with the owner towards the same objective;

Assemble a squad consisting of 2 GK, 5 Def. 5 Mid, 3 Str with a budget of 100 tokens.

Think of the tokens as the currency.

Real world players values (Euros) according to Transfer Markt - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/

Using insight, foresight we bid for players at auction who have an already high transfer value or those who are likely to shoot up in value following a big summer move.

Each week(round) teams submit up to 5 transfer targets (1 minimum, 5 maximum). The council collect all 20 teams transfer targets and compile a shopping list. All 20 teams will see this list of players, their current transfer values and nothing more.

It's closed bidding to start and teams can make up to 3 bids per round.

Round 1 (7th > 14th June) is for Goalkeepers only so teams will look at the shopping list and bid for no more than 3 keepers.

Round 2 is for Defenders. Same rules apply and so on.

There are 11 rounds of closed bidding and 2 transfer windows. The transfer windows allow teams to interact and do player or player + cash(token) deals.

The team with the highest overall transfer value in August wins.
