Alex Ferguson has this morning offered us more on Nani’s leg injury and stated that, although he is unsure of when the winger will return, he is hopeful that he will be back in contention following the international break.

“We’ve managed to stitch it. Now we have to guard against infection. The swelling has gone down, which is good news. To give a date is difficult. Whether he’s fit to face Bolton is difficult to say, but we have a two-week international break and we’d hope he’ll be ready to return after that.”

Nani would therefore seem set to be in the frame to return against West Ham on April 2 – in gameweek 31. Judging by Ferguson’s statement, he could even be in with a chance of figuring in next weekend’s clash with Bolton. That game is of course dependent on positive result in United’s FA Cup tie with Arsenal this weekend. Should that end in a draw, the replay would postpone the Bolton clash and mean that the West Ham fixture in gameweek 31 will be United’s next league outing. Nani could therefore miss just one Premier League fixture.

Over56,000 managers in the Fantasy Premier League game have transferred out Nani from their squads so far this gameweek.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

            Hillbilly Kush has a point.
It's an England world cup game there is bound to be interest. People posting occasionally about cricket has in no way stopped or hindered anyone posting about FPL or recieving advice. The people chatting about cricket have all helped on football posts as well so I cannot see why you repeatedly bitch and moan about the odd cricket post.
If the moderators had a problem its for them to sort, you have no right to tell people to 'feck off'.
All the bitching you and other mean spirited moaners have done have not stopped any cricket talk, all it's achieved is to make you look like a bit of a twat.
Just ignore the posts that don't interest you, it's not hard.

This is the second time i've moaned and its because there is more cricket talk than footy talk on here at the moment.

I wish we had more than one forum so people could discuss different topics.

I think there has been much worse said on here than 'feck off' esp. on a matchday. It was also said tongue in cheek.

I certainly can be a bit of a twat from time to time but i think i'm right.

What's better given my below squad?

    a) Baines, Arteta & Tevez -> Walker, Lampard & RVP (8 points)
    b) Nani, Arteta & Tevez -> Lampard, Adam & RVP (8 points)
    c) something else - please suggest.

    Foster, Stockdale
    Baines, Coleman, Kolarov, Djourou
    VDV, A Young, Nasri
    Tevez, Berbatov, Zigic

    Subs: Stockdale, Kelly(inj), Nani(inj), Arteta(inj)

yeh very true. im actually taking a 8 point hit but the players i will bring in is rooney rvp and bale. who will be season keepers.

Just think if your doing an 8 point hit it should be for players with potential to score huge. which to be honest the players he wants could do that...

Cheers, guys. Think i'll def get Walker & RVP, and poss Lampard. If I don't get Lamps then i'll be playing Kolarov in his place (not ideal away to Chelsea).

Chances of Lampard(-4) outscoring Lolarov? Even if close then might be worth it given upcoming fixtures. Hmmm

dont need kelly for this gw and so will back soon in terms of gws.

kolarov is the suspect one, but i'd do (a)

you keep spamming this team lol so I already know you want rvp and lamps. nani will be ok honestly, he said he wants to win premiership player of the year to cristiano ronaldo apparently so he thinks he has a lot left for the rest of the season.

i hate him, and i've had him since gw1. man u coverage is unfortunately needed and they need him a lot. thats why a) is much better than b)

walker may do well, villa fixtures are good but still see not many cs's he may get attacking points though

Looking to get Nasri and Djourou in, ready for DGW33. Looking on Total FPL, do you think they'll rise tonight? Djourou is protected, but I'm not sure if that's going to hold or not. Would prefer to get them in after the Man U game, when I know if there is a game in GW30 and no injuries picked up.

I thought about taking out Tevez, which I did before, earlier in the season, and it backfired on me badly. He hasn't been on form for the last few games, but Tevez can do it against anybody, so am reluctant to take him out.

Seems like a few people who actually want to give advice atm so my idea is

    Foster
    walker. luiz, huth (coleman, murphy)
    Nani,Lampard, adam, young,silva
    Tevez, saha and (zigic)

    im thinkins 8 point hit
Tevez, silva and saha out. rooney rvp and bale in

opinions on the transfer? will be waiting till after the games but just want an idea

too risky for me. Those moves could pay off, but I doubt it. Saha at home, Tevez can always score big, even at Stamford bridge and Silva is on form.

hmm yeh i agree on silva. tevez wont be as big a scorer tho with detzeco and baloteli getting playing time. think rvp will score more than tevez. saha was a bit of a punt and feel rooney will score more regularly and has good fixtures. also gives me coverage of utd if nani is out.

I can't bring myself to ship Tevez out. After looking at my team, what do you think about this move?

    Baines,Zigic>Djourou,RVP -4

I know that bringing two away players isn't the wisest, but those transfers should be longterm (please stay fit only once RVP...) I don't want to double up on Everton defenders and Coleman should be quite safe now.

Apparently Nani is going to miss the Bolton game and probably the one after that so I'm thinking of swapping him out though I'm not sure who for.

I have 1.8 in the bank so I can't afford Lampard (and I think he's a bit shit anyway). At the moment it's Young, Downing, Bale, Van de Vaart or Malouda. Opinions more than welcome.
