Rate My Team and Projections Updated

Rate my Team and the Projections have now been fully updated. They not only include the new arrivals from the transfer window, they also reflect the recent 25-man squads and factors such as ineligibility for fixtures against parent clubs for loan players.

The Rate My Team model has also been tweaked slightly with regards to bonus point allocation and form over the opening three Gameweeks.

Members can now view Projections for all players for Gameweeks 4 onwards, or get a snapshot of the next six Gameweeks. Rate my Team, meanwhile, allows those members playing wildcards to experiment with their lineups. Simply enter you team id and your current squad will be retrieved.

Having tweaked the model throughout the day, there will doubtless be further changes implemented and, should there be any major changes, I’ll notify you via comments.

Season memberships, giving access to Rate My Team and the Projections, are currently available for £15. View this page for details.

          Ivanovic looks to be the best option to make up the funds, seeing Chelsea do not have the best fixtures for a clean sheet in the next 4.

    Starting to think about what to do with my team.

    I'm thinking I need to get rid of JRod. The only way I can think of doing this is by downgrading Silva, to someone thats 6.2m or less, and upgrading JRod to Benteke (or equivilent)

          It looks unlikely Dawson will keep his spot in the team. When he loses it, he'll drop again. I'd go Collins.

          Collins was sat on 100%+ for a few days on TFPL, never rose. He is now just under despite NTI being positive so it is just a matter of time before he rises. Dawson was a quick riser at the end of last GW but he's slowed to almost no movement.

          If you are doing this just to get money in the bank, don't bother.

          Neither will double rise. so you'll lose what you gain as a transfer fee (50% of profit to the nearest 0.1).

      Use totalfpl for more accurate risers/fallers. it happens 1-2am or 2-3pm depending on when the clocks go forwards I think.

    Morning, quick questions a one which I should prob know the answer too. When new players Eto'o and ozil are added is there price frozen until after they have played one GW?

    Also many people thnk eto'o could be a good prospect for the season, I can imaghine he will end up starting most of their games...

    Walcott(sun), Nolan(sou), Paulinho(NOR), Silva(stoke), Sidwell(W. BROM)

    Dzeko, Altidore, Sturridge.....

    I'm not sure about dzeko and altidore....
    do you think a minus 4 hit for these two will do me any good.....

      I think you're going to need hits to sort that team out and that's where I'd start. Both have shocking fixtures and who knows if they'll even play in them? With Benteke and Giroud firing on all cylinders I'd move before the next GW.

          I would prefer to stick to 3 of Benteke/Giroud/Sturridge/Soldado. At least you know they're getting close to 90 every game, and could conceivably outscore Negredo even with the same amount of gametime.

      I'm giving Mirallas and Lambert another game or two and definitely wouldn't remove for a hit. Underlying stats still look good: shots in the area in particular.

    Either of these worth it...?

    A - Coutinho + Aguero -> RVP + Brady (Or Max 6.3 mid) for -8, would (C) RVP

    B - Aguero -> Benteke for -4, would (C) Benteke

    Captain if I do neither transfer is between Aguero, Walcott and Giroud..

They made a list of transfers that never happened and Herreira to United makes 8th place, 2 places higher than Arsenal failing to sign Zlatan cause they wanted him to trial and Cristiano Ronaldo to arsenal which fell through over a 4 mil transfer fee does not even make the list 😀

      The Zlatan story is classic though.

      If you were a manager of a top Premier League side and some kid, no matter how much potential, said 'Zlatan doesn't do trials' - talking of himself in third person - you'd probably think "this kid is going to be a high maintenance punt!"

      Not surprised he didn't get signed after that. You'd be right about him too, although you will also have missed out on a world class striker.

      Sturridge will get injured though and Benteke has proven form in the league so has to be the safest bet of the three. Can't argue with Soldado based on form in Spain but he has a whole new team around him so might not click straight away.

      Pretty much, Spurs new guys should help Soldado as much as Özil helps Giroud. The idea that you have painful captain choices each week is good if it's the case of many players having an equally high chance of scoring well. If one of them gets injured/suspended you still have a few to pick from that week.

      Over the course of the season, probably yes. But you want to get the right one out at the right time and the right one in at the right time. Giroud and Soldado are the two I wouldn't go without for the next several gameweeks.
