In one of our most intriguing Members articles so far, I decided to investigate how players faired on a per minute basis when it comes to some of the vital statistics available in our Opta tables. Taking a look at Influence, Passing and Goal Threat, I investigate those players who recorded the most touches, passes, key passes, crosses and shots per minute in the Premier League so far.

The findings turned up several surprising statistics, with some major food for thought available to those considering a “route to recruit” for Cesc Fabregas this week.

Looks like Alex is out tomorrow which screws up my already weak defence.

I will have to play Konchesky and Williamson but there's really no point playing Foley or Shawcross.

No money in bank so do I do straight swap of Shawx for either Coleman, Alcaraz or Elmo and take no hit?

Or, downgrade Hart and upgrade Alex at same time?

Or, do Nasri to N'Zogbia and sub out Shawx as above, thus leaving me enough cash next week t do Fabs for Malouda in one move with no hit?

Leaning towards 3 at moment as that is best way to get Fabs in with only 4 point hit (if Alex plays I would leave team this week and do Fabs with my free xfer next week).

What do you guys think?

  Firstly Nolan should be playing this weekend and has a niceish fixture. Wouldn't take a hit to do that swap.
  
  On K Toure, it depends if he plays, if he does, then yes as Man City have a very good defence record this season.
  
  But Shawcross to Coleman is the obvious one, I want to do it, but waiting until next week, don't want to take a hit as I have a very tight cup battle with Anorak this week.
  
  Just realised, that if I progress each week, i won't be able to take any hits, suppose that's a good thing.

  A rule I use is that I put my most expensive players in if I'm stuick like you are.
  
  It's between nasri and Adam, I would prob go with Adam. Makes it easier to deal with if he scores big....to a certain degree...
  
  The alternative is to transfer one out for someoen cheaper as you will be in thsi position week in week out as you can only ever play 7 attackers at once.
  
  I would suggest Nasri to say Barton or Albrighton and upgrade you obviously week defence.

Anyone think Bale could be rested this weekend?

He ran his socks off on Wednesday night, the Everton game has come around very quickly (12.45 k/o tomorrow) and VdV is back in the frame.

I worry that 'Arry could be worried about burning the lad out so may opt to rest him.

He could go with Modric, Huddlestone, Palacios (or Jenas) and Lennon with VdV just off Crouch/Pav and bench Bale!

Or am I worrying needlessly?

  Difficult one, last week I would of said Dempsey, due to the fact that Dembele/Kamara/Johnson are all back for Fulham and he will not be playing up front, and Duff is also coming back so his place on the wing is in danger, but Nolan having been rested last weekend shows that he is not rotation proof, that being said, he is captain, so I would say Dempsey, Etherington is a great squad player to have

and

Really needed Alex to play this week to help my weak defence, clean sheets are difficult to find (exc CHE)_ is it worth transferring in Terry, one of a few player this season that is absolutely rotation proof!?

If it transpires arteta isn’t playing should I take a 4 point hit to bring in silva/vdv/milner or 8 point hit for fabregas or nothing and play albrighton or barton?
