A number of midfielders are placed under the spotlight, with Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Liverpool all serving up some strong statistics. The performance of United’s frontmen at Villa and Tottenham’s inability to find the net under the now-departed Andre Boas-Villa also come under analysis as we delve into the data.

Anyone else thinking Berbatov as a differential is a good Aguero replacement? Any risk of rotation do you think? His fixtures look good for points if it doesn't get too cold and he opts for gloves, a few under layers and a stroll round the park instead 😉

But I wouldnt put 3 Arsenal egg in one basket.

Get Silva and maybe downgrade Ozil to Walcott if you rate him high

Thoughts on Aguero, Brady and Barkley to Chamakh, Yaya and Silva for -8?

Unfortunately, I cannot get Lukaku due to already owning 3 Everton players, and am not too confident about going with Negredo with Jovetic back soon and with Dzeko surely going to get some minutes.

Almost identical to what I'm thinking about! 😀

Everyone laughs at Chamakh, but for his price he is great value.

And he allows you to upgrade midfield, to play 3-5-2, with him on the bench.

Evening gents. This has been proper doing my head in!

Really reluctant to trade Nasri out, but these are my options:

    a. Aguero + Ramsey + Vlaar(inj) > Rooney + Silva + Bardsley (-4)
    b. Aguero + Nasri > Rooney + Silva
    c. Aguero + Kacanaklic > Welbeck + Silva

Was at the Villa - Man U game and Welbeck led the line brilliantly. Could be worth a punt while RVP is out with the World Cup around the corner. Not that silly is it?

B looks very solid. Not sure on the wisdom of losing Nasri, but those 2 in look good. Can you not just do Aguero-Rooney, or is another transfer necessary?

I can do Aguero > Rooney but it would leave me with just Nasri for the Fulham fixture. I think there'll be more goals in that than West Ham parking a bus at Old Trafford.

So being swayed to not compromise on getting Silva, but instead finding an alternative to Rooney. Or taking a hit and losing Ramsey.... :-/

        See what I mean!

I'm afraid I'm rather dull, Nasri might score as well as Silva. Welbeck is a reasonable punt, as they go, so if you think Craven Cottage is where the goals will be, perhaps C is the move for you.

        Etheridge / Mignolet
        Coleman / Wilson / Turner / Clyne / Dawson
        Brady / Morrison / Ramsey / Özil / Hazard
        Suárez / Lukaku / Agüero

2 FT, £0.4m in the bank.

        Which option sounds best?

        a) Aguero > Rooney
        b) Aguero > Negredo
        c) Aguero + Dawson + Brady > Negredo + Chester/Ward + Walcott/Silva for -4

People are kidding themselves. Negredo is the best option with no Aguero. Pelle said that he was "made for the premier league". Dzeko and Jovetic can play in the cup games.

you know where that quote is? if you find it, it would make me feel that much more confident in my Aguero -> Negredo swap last night

Ozil -> Walcott (CHE) or Silva (ful) for a hit?

    Front line is:

    Hazard Ramsey Ravmo Ozil Bannan

    Rooney Lukaku Suarez

Which one should I do this week? It'll also free up funds to do Ravmo -> the other one next week.

Shelvey > Nasri worth a 4 point hit? Or bench and play Januzaj?

I'm not as keen on Nasri as a long-term option, but I see the desire for the hit as I still don't think we can trust Januzaj to start/play every game. I like City's fixtures. I would be tempted to take the risk.

90% sure I'm going to take a short term punt on Welbeck and go big in midfield as I can see Hazard and Ramsey being benched at some point over xmas.

    Silva - Hazard - Walcott - Ramsey - Nasri

    Welbeck - Lukaku - Suarez

And bench Ramsey for the Chelsea game?

Which two to start (one has to be a defender) out of:

    A. Terry (away to Arsenal) - won't be a clean sheet, some attacking threat
    B. Chester (away to WBA) - could be a clean sheet, no attacking threat
    C. Ward (home to New) - some chance of a clean sheet, small attacking
    D. Bannan (home to New) - decent threat off set pieces for a low-scoring team

    Thanks.

Soldado worth a punt for Aguero? Got Rooney and Lassie already. Also have 3 Everton so can't get lukakkkkka with out a hit.

    New manager might revive him???

    Stupid? Too Punty?

Too punty, yep. Negredo or Welbeck are the likely lads to patner with Suarez / Rooney / Lukaku.
