A number of midfielders are placed under the spotlight, with Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Liverpool all serving up some strong statistics. The performance of United’s frontmen at Villa and Tottenham’s inability to find the net under the now-departed Andre Boas-Villa also come under analysis as we delve into the data.
How am I looking?
Howard
Zabaleta / Terry / Gabbidon
Silva / Hazard / Ramsey / Walcott
Lukaku / Rooney (vc) / Suárez (c)
Lewis / Oviedo / Chester / Turner
Thinking of a short term punt with Terry to Vermalean next week, what with Kosc out.Open ControlsAre people serious taking 8 and 12 point hits with only Aguero being their injury (who can be downgraded to every single available striker) and there is a WC in 2-3 weeks?
Oh dear...Open ControlsNah, just a -4 for me.
Open Controlsthis - cant stomach a -8 before the WC.
Dont like taking a -4 but Sess has to go - I am sick of himOpen Controls
Because of price changes. Come that WC you might not be able to afford the teams they can.
The season doesn't end in Jan, long way to go. If they can afford a better team, chances are they will outscore you by the end of the season.Open Controls
aguero to chamakh....done!
hold me, i feel sick 😕Open ControlsLol

Oooooh, come on, ooh yeah
Well I tried to tell you so (yes I did),
But I guess you didn't know,
As the saddest story goes,
Wenger, now I got the flow,
'Cause I know it from the start,
Wenger, when you broke my heart,
That I had to score again,
And show you that I'm with.
You lied to me,
All those times I said that I should start for you,
You lied to me,
Yes, I tried, yes, I tried,
You lied to me,
Even though you know I'd score for you,
You lied to me,
Yes, I cried, yes, I cried.
[Chorus 1:]
Return of the chamakh,
It is,
Return of the chamakh,
Come on,
Return of the chamakh,
Oh, my god,
You know that I'll be back,
Here I am.Open Controls

looking at your team value it must be true! Just went to 4YC's and all, oh dear.
Open Controlsa calculated risk like anyone gettin silva
Open Controls
You're bank must be like Scrooge McDucks vault
Open Controls
Ozil to Yaya worth it for -4?
The way I see it, I want both a city mid + walcott, and I can do Shelvey to walcott next week (i.e take the hit today instead of next week)..Open ControlsYaya has the better fixture this week so it might be worth it if you were definitely gonna do the hit next week anyways
Open Controls
Krul
Coleman G Johnson Terry
Mirallas Shelvey Hazard Ramsey
Lukaku Suarez Rooney
Subs: Szczesny JWP Clyne Koscielny
No free transfers 1.8m in the bank.
A) Terry to cheap defender, Shelvey to Silva/Walcott/Yaya next week
B) Shelvey to Cabaye straight
C) NeitherOpen ControlsProbably C
Open Controls
Suarez 87% cpatains choice on here. Gonna need some real differentials if you want to climb the ladder this week I think haha
Open ControlsShould I do Sess to Silva now for a hit or wait a week and do it for free?
Open ControlsIs it worth doing Ozil --> Silva/Yaya if it allows me to do Ravmo --> Walcott next week? I really really like Ozil as a player but not sure where he stands in terms of FPL compared to Walcott.
Thanks (:Open Controlsso already did Kun -> Negredo for my FT..
thinking I will do Terry -> Chester this week for a hit (can't take another blank from Chelsea and I know Arsenal will score at least 1)
then next week will do Ravel (or Januzaj) -> Ozil (or Walcott)
or do you think I should bundle it all together for a miserable -8? 😯 😆Open ControlsWhy would you take a hit to bring in Chester who will probably score 1 or 2?
Open ControlsTerry to Chester this week for a hit doesn't seem like a very fruitful move
Open ControlsI have Terry, Mert and Clyne at the moment..basically asking for 3 blanks..
only considering Chester because I was intrigued by the idea of getting in Ozil, but could just as easily do Evans + Walcott for a -8 (or Evans for a -4 and Walcott for free next week if he doesn't rise before the lock)Open Controls
Net Spending:
Chelsea - 60m
Liverpool - 17m
Arsneal - 32m
Manu - 35m
City -66m
Spurs -3m
Think AVB done alright for his spending. Apart from the thrashings he has done well imo.Open ControlsReally curious about this. How many gameweeks have you got a score of below 50? For me it's 4, i just want to see how consistent everyone here is
Open ControlsI made the first half of my transfer for the week, swapping out Aguero for Berbatov. I almost pulled the trigger on Hooper, but was worried about the looming threat of a healthy van Wolfswinkel, which I thought would impact his game time.
With 7.1 in the bank, my next two transfers are Brady and Ramsey to Walcott and Hazard. I plan to space it out over two game weeks to limit my point hits to -4. Should I flip Brady to Walcott and have three Arsenal midfielders this week (also have Ozil) or should I start with Hazard and bring in Walcott next week?Open ControlsREPOST:
Have Nasri
A) Silva (more forward, creative, corners)
B) Yaya (more minutes, free kicks, PENALTIES, deeeeeeep)

He's not deep at all..that's a myth..Take a look at City's average position player by player. City's idea of a deep player is not the same as most other teams..he takes up a decent position compared to any other "CDM's"
Open Controls- Open Controls
agreed, i was just thinkin in comparison to their attacking players.. I would normally say Silva at the drop of a hat but yayas set pieces have been annoying me (city fan)
Open Controls- Open Controls
i agree he is not that deep, but that is a match where we are winning happily, id imagine his position would be different @ 1-0 up.. really appreciate alll d input lads

Is the problem with Welback the fact that his goal returns have been poor in the past or the fact that he might not play?
Who is the best striker for the free 7.0m in my frontline?
Berbatov, Welbeck & Hooper the 3 main ones. Welbeck looks nailed on (for now) in the best side with the best fixtures? Hardly that shocking a decision? 🙂Open ControlsEveryones teams are becoming the same by the looks of it.
Open Controls
I did Kun+Sess+Clyne>Negredo+Silva+Evans for -8 this week.
Everyone seems to think that those are bad moves since they involve -8. 🙁
But my reasoning was that Kun and Clyne will score 0 points combined and Sess will score 2 points.
So, that basically means that Negredo,Silva and Evans need to score 10 points or more for that hit to work which I think is very likely.
Am I missing something? Any mistake in the tmy thought process? 🙄Open Controls8 point hits is a little excessive. If you study the FPL champs of seasons past, they will avoid taking hits at all costs.
Taking -8pts would be totally anathema to them.
However, if you think 100% that you will recover those points, then by all means go for it.Open ControlsI don't like taking hits for players that will be playing the next gw but when a player is injured I think it's the best time to take the plunge since there's no chance of them exploding or for that matter scoring any points.
Open Controls
Nope, sounds very good and reasonable. Good luck!
Open ControlsCheers mate.
Open Controls
I did factor the subs role in the hits.
My subs are Ravel,Burner and Faye.
Faye will get O.
Burner will get 0 or negative points considering the form that Liverpool are in
Ravel might get a couple.Open ControlsCheers mate. hope it works out.

Stephen Ireland
Open ControlsWhere?
Open ControlsDon't get me started on him. A total tool. Why would you give up an international career because you are going bald?
Open Controls
First year player & I'm no expert but I can't understand the Welbeck dislike. I watched highlights of the game & I thought he was great. He looked very sharp & the 2 goals he scored showed great anticipation & intuition.Although it was only a 10 minute package Welbeck featured prominantly whereas Rooney hardly featured. Obviously the 2 main standouts to replace Aguero are Rooney, Negredo or Lukaku but are they necessarily the best options. Man C. have an away game v Fulham this week & their away form is shocking & then they have Liv. Man U have a home game v West Ham & then travel to Hull. Lukaku is doing nothing atm. I think the decision is between Rooney & Welbeck & I'm leaning towards Welbeck. Am I crazy?
Open Controlskep Ravel or Whttingham?
WHU have amazing fixtures til GW30Open ControlsWhitts
Open ControlsKeep both given there's only three expensive mids worth having.
Open Controlsi can name at least 5.

ozil
walcott
yaya
silva.
and then theres the rather must have ramsey as a mid priced optionOpen Controls
keep Whitts if you can bench him this GW
i have both for now and keeping both until WC i thinkOpen ControlsReally?

West Ham are rubbish though but Ravel is cheap enough to keepOpen Controls
Walcott Ramsey Ozil too much to have?
Open Controlsis rooney a must? or is welbeck good enough cover?
Open ControlsNo, and no, but do you need cover?
Open Controls
What I am confused about is how City have won two penalties without Aguero falling over.
Open ControlsYaya looms.
Open ControlsYaya Toure's the champion...
Open Controls
Rooney or Negredo ?
In a vacuum (as they say in american fantasy sports) Rooney wins easily
1) Nailed on ,
2) Proven fantasy performer
3) Penalties
4) Set pieces
Negredo
1) Not nailed on
2) New to English winter , patchy so far
3) Competing with so many others for city points
Last 6 games they started
Rooney 12 , 4 , 11 13 , 1 , 5 = 46
Negredo 5 , 2 , 10 ,6, 2 , 6 = 31
They both missed one game , Rooneys was suspension , but Negredos was rotation. (Expect Dzeko to get a start over xmas)
However , its not a vacuum as Negredo gives an extra coupe of million to spend elsewhere.
For example i have the choice of
Rooney and Mirallas OR Negredo and WalcottOpen ControlsHere's Negredo's recent form foryou. Don't tink he's patchu seeing that.

Open Controls
ahh the thought of a 'heavily snooded' negredo lol
Open ControlsAlso most of the last six games he was withdrawn after sixty odd minutes.
Rooney also has better fixturess , although city have been smashing everyone. But that was partly due to the great form of AgueroOpen Controls
The money did it for me Triggs.
Aguero, Ozil and Bacuna -> Negredo, Silva and Walcott
Couldn't do it with Rooney.Open Controls
unless a City/Chelsea mid gets injured midweek, it seems like there is literally no chance that Walcott rises before the lock on Saturday..
Open Controlsyeah, one silver lining of Kun's injury..means I can likely afford to wait a week..
in an ideal world, I won't take any hit to ship Terry or bring in Walcott and Chelsea keep a clean sheet against Arsenal.Open ControlsYou don't have other Arsenal players that would blank then?
Open ControlsI have Ramsey, Mert, Terry and Hazard. Would take a 0-0 from that match tbh..probably have to start Mert and Terry and there's no way Cardiff isn't conceding so Burner will have to ride the bench
Open ControlsIm benching Mert and have Haz and Wally. I'm hoping for a 6 goal thriller haha
Open Controls
A) Aguero, Ozil, lallana> Rooney, Wally, Silva -8 (Can only be done tonight)
or
B) Aguero, Lallana > Negrado, Silva (-4)
